Did I ever saw that Miranda isn't one-dimensional?, I know he's one-dimensional and I didn't need to see many fights of his to realise that, one round of his fight with Eastman was more than enough proof that this guy is one-dimensional. Back to putting words in my mouth I see, getting desperate too quick it seems.

Pavlik also keeps going forward and will rely on his reach/power to win this fight, Abraham on the other hand can move, block these punches well, counter when necessary and slug it out when he needs to. What I mean by NOT ONE-DIMENSIONAL IS THE FACT THAT ABRAHAM HAS MANY OPTIONS, PAVLIK DOESN'T. Understood or your head is shoved FAR deep into your ass that you refuse to understand my point here?

Who said he is not one dimensional? They are both one dimensional. The only question is which style comes out on top, because neither is changing.

The one-dimensional fighter here is Pavlik, NOT Abraham. As I said countless times to you, Abraham can go aggressive and slug, he can go defense, he can counter and also has underrated/good movement. Pavlik DOESN'T therefore he's the one who's one-dimensional here when COMPARED to Abraham.

When people say one-dimensional it means the guy is only going to do one thing, we all know Pavlik is going to stalk, throw that jab to set up hayemakers right after them, don't expect to see anything new. Abraham can slug when he needs, he can back off and counter, he can block punches and move. When a fighter has different options which he often uses or can use, he's not one-dimensional. By one-dimensional I mean NOT predictable and Abraham isn't predictable unlike Pavlik or Miranda.

    Scar.

    Ask yourself this question.

    Can Abraham outbox Pavlik? No.

    Can Pavlik outbox Abraham? Yes.

    Can Abraham outfight Pavlik? Yes.

    Can Pavlik outfight Abraham? Yes.

You see, the only one with a choice in this fight is Pavlik. That gives him a multi-dimensional approach. Abraham will fight Pavlik the same way he fought Miranda unless he gets desperate and tries to up his volume and bring the fight right to Pavlik.

The thing is though, we don't know if Abraham is capable of being an effective volume puncher because he's never showed much of a workrate in the past, doesn't have fast hands, and has little to no head movement.

And you damn well know that Abraham can't outbox Pavlik.

That leaves Abraham with no choice.

Pavlik has more than one choice because he can decide to FIGHT or BOX.

    Get it?

Pavlik is NOT a boxer, I don't know where the hell are you coming up with that ****, Pavlik relies on his power and being aggressive which makes him one-dimensional. Throwing 3-5 lefts followed by a predictable right is hardly confusing or multi-dimensional, that's as one-dimensional as it comes. Abraham ALSO has different options, he might lack head movement but he doesn't lack the leg movement(that's one option), he can slug(another option) and can counter punch(yet another option). How is that predictable and one-dimensional?, you're only considered one-dimensional when you're predictable, that simple.

In the context of this fight he's one dimensional. All he's going to do is fight exactly the same, turtle, counterpunch

Abraham only ever changes that style when he is forced to, i.e. his opponent runs. Then he'll open up, try to box a bit more and up his work-rate, but he never looks entirely comfortable with life

We can only really consider somebody to have another dimension if they actually excel in it

A true multi-dimensional fighter would be Calzaghe. He can box from range like against Kessler. He can go to war, like Mitchell. He can swarm and pressure like Hopkins.

Yes but if you notice through this discussion what I'm saying is pretty clear and obvious, I'm saying Abraham isn't considered one-dimensional once compared to Pavlik, not in general. Though you're right about the turtle defense then counter punching, Abraham can also slug it out and is unpredictable with his punches sometimes, all of a sudden he jumps in with a big punch unexpectedly..etc, that won't make him one-diemensional fighting against someone like Pavlik, it'll make him confusing and difficult to figure out.

Pavlik is a BETTER BOXER than Abraham.

Damn, you can be so damn dense sometimes. I didn't say the mother ****er was SRR.

I just said he can outbox Abraham who can't box worth a ****.

Abraham has no choice in this fight. Pavlik can box him or slug him.

You won't see Abraham making any changes.

Yeah but it's not like Abraham will be too predictable, that's what I'm trying to get you to understand here. Pavlik WILL be predictable with his plans/punches, Abraham won't with his counter punching, movement and sudden attacks. Not saying Abraham is SRR either, just letting you know that he's NOT predictable in the ring.

Neither fighter is known for a multi-faceted approach to boxing. It really isn't a big issue here anyway. A ****ing frieght train is very predictable, but I would not suggest you try to derail one by counter punching. Nor would I suggest you stand in front of one and hope by some freak occurance it misses you.

This fight comes down to the fact that Pavlik is a stylistic nightmare for Abraham.

One thing for sure (and Pavlik fans would never ever agree with):

Pavlik CAN'T slug it out with AA...he can cleverly box outta AA's distance piling up points and if AA can't solve it he might be TKO'ed BUT if Kelly at one point thinks he can go all in to smother AA on the inside he's in for a rude awakening.

The 2nd Talyor fight showed that Kelly ain't one-dimensional and could out-point a more talented fighter but if he's trying to bang (like he did vs McKart or Zertuche) instead of boxing he's gonna lose to Abraham.

btw, AA is multi 1-dimensional :D

"Abraham has .... plan going into a fight. That is to absorb the other fighter's shots on his gloves until either, A) The other fighter tires himself out and leaves himself open, or B), The other fighter gets desperate and tries to find openings on the inside"

Thats already TWO possibilities, which proves Abracham is at least TWO dimensional.

Cap, Abraham is generally known as a boxer. If you can prove that he's a slugger as well, you'll only prove that he's in fact multi-dimensional! :D

But I guess it's not easy to get a copy of Abraham's fights outside of Germany and the 2 Miranda fights are anything but typical fights for Abraham.
