    :good

It also doesn't hurt that Abraham takes the first two rounds off, and probably 2 minutes and 30 seconds of every other round. When he throws at you, though, you better not be in front of him.

This is a no brainer. Mosely fought a version of Marquez that was still a pretty good fighter, and 154 was Shane's worst division.

Abraham fought a version of Marquez that the equally faded Bronco McKart counter punched the **** out of.

    Therein lies the difference.

Marquez fought Shane when both were younger, and AA when he was older, and told us that AA's speed bothered him more. He did not say who was faster. When you watch Shane-Marquez, Marquez tried to walk through Shane, and really was not affected by Shane's speed advantage at all. Marquez being older does not make a difference in his judgement as to who he thinks speed bothered him more.

I saw his last fight against Mahir Oral and he's actually slow. His speed is not impressive at all, but he's fast enough, he's not faster than Taylor though.

Well Marquez was 31 when he fought Mosley(at Mosley's worst weight and Marquez's best) and 37 when he fought Abraham......Maybe Marquez was just that much slower when he fought AA then Shane.

Forget logic. I tried the same approach. Doesn't work on ESB, and it especially does not work when the subject is Arthur Abraham.

Ok, this is acceptable I guess, with the exception of the underlined. AA is not slow at all. When he uncoils, his combos are fast.

Your talk regarding Abraham is nothing but pure hate with shameless Pavlik ball licking because Pavlik openly and clearly ducked him. Marquez was his mandatory, it was supposed to be Lorenzo but he lost so Marquez took it. Like Lockett and Rubio were Pavlik's mandatories and you speak of them like they're boxing elites for that. Hell you have been a laughable job of promoting a past it journeyman quality fighter Pavlik fought in McKart and Zuniga.

Abraham moving up to be surrounded by guys like Froch, Taylor, Ward, Dirrell, Kessler, Bute, Andrade and many more proves that Abraham wasn't just "talking" when he was openly and constantly calling out Pavlik when we can all see Pavlik considering Williams or Sturm. Compare that with what Abraham is doing and you will easily see who's the one that's 100% talk.

It's not Abraham who's saying that, it's Marquez his self so stop acting like Abraham called him and kindly asked him to go out in public and say this.

While Abraham is taking a huge risk in participating in one of the most exciting tournaments in the history of the sport Pavlik is thinking deeply about whether to fight blown up Welterweight Williams or Sturm who's coming off a gift decision over a guy who Abraham fought and beat. Yeah, one of the Abraham opponents who you consider crap yet shamelessly praise and promote Zuniga, McKart, Rubio and Lockett.

don't try to apply reason to this guy. "Pure hatred" is pretty much hitting the nail on it's head.

Abraham has quick hands and due to them being hooks/hayemakers they come with much more authority. Their might be fighters at super middle with quicker straight punches, who can really punch hayemaker combinations like this?
