I don't even LIKE Kovalev lol. I haven't liked him since the Pascal rematch. This isn't about being a fan of one fighter making you shift positions. If the roles were entirely reversed in the fight I would have said Kovalev was getting beat in the fight until he hit Ward low and the ref unjustly stopped the fight.

You're also acting like bad decisions don't happen in boxing all of the time lol. We've seen guys lose nearly every round and get awarded a draw or even a win.

 

Nah I'm not having Jr is glass jawed but I don't think he is ironed jawed either. Jr is young, very fit, strong and that all helps and adds up if you have a decent chin in the first place.

We've argued the body shots Ward utilized in the rematch till death. I can show you every video in the world to prove to you the validity of the fight but you will still find a way to dispute it.

You don't believe the stoppage was right.
You don't believe the body shots Ward landed were legal.
You don't believe 2/3 of the judges scorecard was correct.
I bet you question NSAC decision to uphold the stoppage by Weeks.

The stoppage wasn't right. The majority of the people that saw that actually say the same thing.
The punch that ended the fight was low. Not everything Ward threw was low.
I don't have much faith in boxing judges right now because I have seen an absurd amount of clear robberies. Based on how you're actually supposed to score a fight, Ward was not winning.
It is VERY uncommon to overturn a decision like that and in doing so, after the fight is over, it sets a bad precedent that with enough complaining you can get these things overturned. I would have liked to see them actually bother looking at the replay footage directly after the call Weeks made the same way they did in the Rigo fight prior but they didn't. I did not expect them to overturn that decision at all and honestly it wouldn't have been fair to Ward to do so since he did win.

 

Maybe you should stop watching boxing, have considered that option? If everything in the sports is as bad as you claim, then why continue watch. QUIT!!!

 

Eh I think about it. I invested a lot of time into it though. I enjoy it, but I hate boxing politics. Every year I find it increasingly hard to get excited for it. Lol it's like an abusive relationship.

I would suggest fans read the rules of boxing, if you go by the rules, SOB would have been disqualified and SOB did not win the decision in the first fight. Bad decisions are not made because of ignorant, untrained judges, they are made according to the preference of the promoter, they want to please the promoter. I have seen fighters win every round, totally outclass his opponent, and still lose the fight by UD! Look at the double standard they use for Dirrell.................

I don't expect Abraham to win the fight, Abraham usually simply holds his gloves in front of his fact and follows his opponent around the ring, Abraham has never been a good fighter since he moved up in weight, but now it's not just his inactivity, his height, but his age. I don't see any chance for him, but I could be wrong.....................fighting in the UK? He would need a knockout to get a draw, although Vlad got a fair scoring against Joshua................
