Abraham: Kelly Pavlik is a good Boxer

He was a potent middleweight, because of power - not skill.

He is an impotent super middleweight, precisely because of that lack of skill to fall back on when his diminished power fails him.

Nobody's ever confused Abraham for a master boxer. Nor Pavlik, but he's by far the better technical boxer of the two.

I'm miffed that boxwreck has Abraham at 7 and Kelly at 8 at SMW.

 

If Abraham was US - he would have more respect

If Pavlik was EU - he would have lesser respect

Make the fight happen. It's three years too late and I don't think that Abraham still has the old dedication he showed when he was undefeated. But on the other side Pavlik has lost two scraps as well, so make this is a loser leaves town match and I'm happy. I'm pretty sure that Pavlik will frustrate Abraham with his height and reach, just like Froch did.

But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my boy Arthur can somehow get to Pavlik and knock him out. Not very likely, but it would be just great to see the fight being made.
