    Yes it is a knockdown.

Dirrell did very well last night.

Im a massive AA fan and i was actually worried in this fight as Abraham is a slow starter and doesnt like movers. However Andre fought the fight of his life.

As for AA, bring on Froch:happy

Regarding Abraham v Froch im just looking forward to a great fight.

Im an Abraham fan, but i wouldnt be bothered if Froch won with him being English and all. However im only just warming to Froch who was to Calzaghe what Witter was to Hatton.

As for Kessler v Froch im sorry to say but i will be supporting Kessler.

there was a time in the fight where abraham was turned , possibly hit and fell into the ropes , right at the end of the round and the ref ruled it a slip.

on showtime they never replayed the incident, did they later or was there different angles on german tv to show what happened ,
was this a legit knockdown that should have been scored for direll ?

i have no idea why american tv never repeated the incident on replay during the round break.

Page one of this thread fella. No punch landed, Dirrell throws one which cuffs Abraham with the inside of his forearm and knocks him off balance.

I don't get this logic. What's wrong with Witter & Froch wanting to prove/test themselves against domestic rivals perceived as the best in their respective weight classes? It's all well and good stating that they have to earn the right to fight, but in my opinion both did (admittedly in Froch's case he did so after JC had retired).
Witter fought with the flag on his shorts. And yet he garners no support.
Froch is an Englishman who will fight anyone anywhere.
He didn't need to travel to the States to fight Taylor. Taylor had made it clear that he would rather withdraw from his mandatory status then travel to England. So Carl went abroad.
Again, Carl could've stayed at home and defended his title against nobodies at the Cardiff ice rink. But he entered the super six to test himself against the best.
He didn't ***** and moan about having to travel to Denmark and Germany despite being the WBC champ - he just got on with it.
And yet it seems many from the UK will be supporting Kessler.

I like and respect Froch as a fighter. He is never in a dull fight, it was his "manner" and attitude that i didnt like.

Pretty much like Haye, yes he is a good fighter, but imo he is an arrogant ****er. Some people like this, others like myself dont. And its the same with Froch.

Froch has to be comended for his attitude to fighting the best and he has had or will have imo the toughest ride out of all the fighters, Dirrell, Kessler and Abraham.

Aren't you a Tyson fan? He was a little bit worse than 'arrogant' ...

And he has an avatar picture of Scott Harrison!

Lets see - rapists and violent criminals - thumbs up.
Boxers who like to project an arrogant persona - burn them.
