Is anybody planning to fork over the $25 to watch this? I'm tempted to, but it pisses me off to have to pay to see a fight that is clearly not PPV-quality. Plus, buying this will only encourage more of these B-level fights going PPV. Anybody else annoyed or on the fence about it?

This is PPV b/c neither HBO nor SHO has a timeslot for it and don't want to spend any money for a tape-delay or summary. Same goes for ESPN, FOX or Versus.

PPV don't equal making money. This might very well cost more than it gets in reward. It's PPV b/c nobody wants to pick it up - at least some people are able to watch it, that's the intention behind this...it's not like Bob Arum-like, who knows that Rican- and Mexican-hispanics are going to shell out some money for their beloved fighters, even if there's only a name behind the fighter (Chavez Jr. i.e.).

Boxing is a media-wore so houseshows made by big promotions aren't there anymore and most TV stations won't pay money for some 2nd/3rd class boxing show - a sport that didn't evoke much interest by casual viewers these days - for TV CEO's a diagramm says more than animated pictures... :verysad

Should be a fun fight. I'm use to being frustrated with fights being on HBO. As far as i know there is no way to get HBO in the UK?
