The guy completely sucks!!! no head movement, no jab, just an stationary target... The Froch vs Abraham fight reminded me of Pac vs Clottey

Credit to Froch for making Abraham LOOK like a punchbag. As I seem to remember, although he was getting outboxed, Dirrell never dominated him from start to finish in the way Froch did, and Dirrell is noted as the better boxer technically than Froch. Froch is better technically than people think and it was a combination of Abraham being too static and Froch not giving Abraham any opportunity to implement his own game.

So give credit where credit is due. Froch not only beat what was in front of him, but he totally took the fight out and broke the will of Abraham and ain't no man done that to him before!

It's not that Froch is technically better than Dirrell, it's just that Froch is a much stronger boxer than Andre, it's easier to bully Dirrell and Froch is actually a good boxer he used his feet very well.

    This rises the question?
Is Team Sauerland up to date with modern Boxing? I recently saw another Fight of one of Uli Wegners fighters against an technical well trained british fighter (forgot both names though). It was a good fight, well at least from the young british fighter.
Wegner´s fighter did the exact same thing as AA tonight, he was not active enough, fought stiff out of high guard, bad footwork, no head movement and had no answers when cornerd aside from trying some dirty stuff.
Perhaps Mr. Wegner´s ways of training are bit too old school?

On the other hand AA is of course too blame for tonight´s performance, don´t get me wrong. When it got tough again and he was desperate, he once again fought dirty.

I The shell only works when behind the jab and firing off shots behind it. see Winky or Glen. Abraham is really a sitting duck. Hes strong but not smart and lacks a lot of skill. Abraham is done at 168 and now a marked man so other fighters are gonna know exactly how to beat him and not fear him as much. He can still beat some brawlers like Miranda. I dont think he would beat Green at this point even. I still think a Pavlik fight could be interesting at 160 should Pavlik continue.

    ^ This.

This was a classic "slippery snake" vs. "slow tortoise" fight. I expected Froch to win (although I had some other VCash on a surprise early Abraham KO/TKO) because styles make fights.

Abraham would still be a threat to a lot of middleweights and supermiddleweights. I dread to think what he'd do to Pavlik.

Indeed i too did see abraham resort to forearms etc when he got in range. He should retire a dirty fighter. I picked froch for this fight as i went with my heart. My head said 50 50 fight so i am very happy to see Froch boxing to instruction like he can. His corner/ trainer were giving him the perfect advice and he just did what he had to do with vicious intent. abraham has took a beating here and i don't know if he will ever been the same again.. Looking at his body language suggests not. Froch is the fighter i have most respect for at present.

Abraham sucked in that fight. He can't even put combinations together, all he did was throw looping bombs and missed all night long lol
