He never counters. When he is defending he is only defending. Nothing fired in between the specific way I thought he would beat Froch. No more Eurofights for me.

It always makes me laugh when someone comes out and proclaims that a former World champion, who lost at the highest level "sucks".

Froch boxed out of his skin tonight and whilst he showed some apparent limitations lets not go too overboard. Or perhaps you are just saying that Froch deserves no credit at all for making Abraham look poor??

Abraham seems to think it's okay to go into his shell and le fighters punch at will thinking he can then land with a big punch. He needs to seriously look at his approach and mental attitude because I can see him being outclassed by the likes of Ward.

Froch did a job. Abraham is outrageously flawed, but Carl Froch deserves his respect.

I agree. Abraham REALLY disappointed me. I used to be his fan but now I don't know what to think about him. His performance was really a shame.

He wasn't even competitive. I could understand that he struggled with Dirrell, a slick skilled boxer.
But Froch isn't as fast and slick as Dirrell and Abe looked worse against Froch.

He acted like a punching bag, no head movement, horrible footwork, no accuracy, just an extremely slow plodding fighter.

He needs to get back at 160. He's gonna struggle with the big guys in 168 and he has to work on his punch output. He has a mental issues that prevents him from throwing more punches. He has to work on those mental issues, so he can be more active.

Tonite he was a punching bag. I guess the secret is to keep throwing punches at him, and then throw some more, because he won't come out of his shell. Froch did a great job tonite of taking AA out of his game and taking the game out of AA.

Abraham should get out of the tournament and let Bute take his place! You would see Ward cry!

Why does Ward refuse to fight unless get gets all his fights in his home town? Ward's judges were a disgrace! His personal ref pushed Bike back, was biased as I expected.

I won't mention any names, but someone on this site has been saying this since 2007.

Abraham has struggled against all his opponents in this tournament. He is way to inactive and his style and gameplan is so predictable! If he doesn`t get that ko he is getting outpointed easily more or less. Taylor did good, Dirrell did better and Froch did best. That turtle-shell defence and sudden explosions is getting quite easy to figure out.. But he is still dangerous, no doubt about that

I think AA was waiting for Froch to tire towards the end of the fight and go for the KO.

Flawed if you've watched Frochy fight at all.

Abraham would have knocked the coward Dirrell out if the fight had gone on. Abraham should not have given away so many rounds. Just hold up your gloves and pretend to be a heavy bag!

    Bute Vs. Ward now!

no Ilesey. All Credit to Froch.:bbb

I tihnk AA looked what he looked because Froch made him fight his fight. but come one AA looked like walking zombie with occasionally Swinging like Maniac and missing those Wiild punches by country miles.:yep

But in all honestly if AA doesnt chance he can very well quit his CAreer because he is not going any further at elite level...

no it was not mental, it became mental in the first couple of rounds once AA realized that Froch is going to knock the hell out of him if he opened up and tried anything.. AA is a cheater and dirty nobody and thank god this fight didn't happen in germany

aa should just hang em up

Abraham needs a new trainer and should work on putting together combinations behind the jab, the trouble is, thats a basic manoeuvre in boxing and if he doesnt know how to do that now he probably never will.

His ring entrance was lacklustre and stiff, he looked like a beaten fighter before the opening bell rung, so there is definitely something bothering Abraham mentally.
