Arthur Abraham plans returning to middleweight. He wants to take on 2 or 3 build up fights and then begin in middleweight again.
Some good fights for him back at 160. Can't help but feel a bit sorry for Abraham. Talk about a fall from grace over the last 18 months.
I think Abraham's done. His ego is shattered. Dirrell laid the blueprint for how to outclass him and now every fighter he faces - who's not a tomato can- will employ that strategy and outbox him. I"d love to see him face Sturm, though that probably won't happen, as protected as Sturm is. Participating in the Super 6 was the worst career blunder I've ever seen in boxing. What was AA's management thinking?
Maybe he wanted to fight the best. You know, the stuff we boxing fans are always calling for. He should be commended for it, and also for honouring his contract to the Super Six.
