First fight I would line up for AA is Martinez, if not Martinez Chavez Jr., I would keep him the hell away from Pirog.

Obviously touched a nerve here. Pavlik's best was always better than Abraham's best. :deal

    Sorry.

I see you won't even try and dispute what I said, just start with the insults.

He still has to get into AA's wheel house to deliver so AA would always have that 'one shot' at winning. I'm not sure Martinez would oblige him though. AA would have to leave his comfort zone and become the aggressor. If he makes 160 he will be in worse shape than Pavlik was. I really don't think he can be effective at 160 anymore. He really wasn't towards the end.

No. Kelly has always preferred to keep his distance and has under rated defensive skills. Kelly was ALWAYS a bad style match up for AA.

I actually agree Kelly would use the jab to control a basic fighter like AA.

Or you can't bring yourself to face the fact that KP was always a stylistic nightmare for AA and would have beaten him decisively?

You didn't touch ****. Pavlik's best days are behind him, so are Abraham's. Truth is you can't deal with it. :yep

I've always said Abraham was a one dimensional fighter. It's good that he got found out otherwise we'd be hearing no end of **** from his fanboys.

That was obvious to some of us a couple of years ago. We were derided for it pretty hard. The answer was always, "Then how come no one has done it?" It was because AA had a belt and defended it at home and didn't have to close the distance on anyone to deliver his 'money' punch. A 30 second flurry at the end of the round was good enough. Until then, he just waited for the perfect opening. He didn't work to create it, he just waited......

We know that AA is done at MW and can't move up. We don't know what Kelly has left yet. We will find out soon enough though.

well, i think it was a decent try for AA at least. He discovered that stamina problems are even more prevalent the heavier you are, and that his power game wasnt good enough to win victories against the supermid elites. He was WAY too muscular and heavy for his frame to be sustainable round to round.... only good for 5-6 rounds

It doesn't matter what weight class he goes to.

If you fight like David Tua, you are going to get exposed by a smart boxer every time.

Either way it will be an entertaining spectacle. It will be more exciting than May/Pac will turn out to be.
