Not a smart thing. Not at all! Abraham went to train in California some 6 weeks ago which is a 9-hour time difference from home, but returned to Berlin two weeks ago as Dirrell postponed and coach Wegner had a fight with Huck in Germany (18 hours). Now Abraham travels once more, but only on Saturday, one week before the fight, so by the time he enters the ring, his body had to adjust to a total of 24 hours of time difference in just 7 weeks!

Jetlag can be a serious thing, especially if you set your body in 110% training mode, proper rest is essential, and you don't wanna mess with your body rhythm in the middle of preparations. Due to the circumstances, AA messed with it 3 times during camp. How seriously King Arthur Abraham will be affected in your opinion?

You are going to have to come up with a better excuse if he loses than he only had 7 weeks to adjust to the time difference. :yep

Abraham is avoiding the swine flu Pavlik and his entire team caught before fighting Hopkins so he's keeping things 100% secure.

Yep. Learned from the Calzombies to read just the part I want to read and ignore the rest. He would have been smart to just reset his clock and stay on US time when he went back. Even if he just sleeps till around 1 or 2 local time, he should be in good shape. I still don't see what the big deal about 24 hours in 7 weeks matter. There is what difference it time zones? 6/7 tops?

going to the states from europe is not a problem... given that he's been in europe for almost 3 weeks, it's just fine - he has adapted, and we'll need a couple of days top to adapt to new time zone.

the mistake is to come only a week before to europe - it really takes about a week to get adjusted back.

Yup, agreed. Usually takes me literally a day, and I'm good to go. Going TO Germany usually takes me a full week to adjust properly. Abraham said himself that it doesn't affect him. Some people it hits hard, others it doesn't bother as much.

A measuring stick to adapt well is to take 1 day for each hour of time difference.
So I think he will not be affected noticably. He recovered from his first trip to the US, then recovered from his trip back to Berlin.
After his next flight (6 hour time difference to Detroit?) he has 7 days to recover so that should be enough.
Don't forget they fly busines class which is more comfortable then the appartment I live in.

I agree with you it's a bit of a fuss to travel that often and long during training camp..!
