I really liked Pavlik but now his management is starting to turn him into a joke. Kelly always said his real goal at 160 was to unify all the belts. Now we're starting to hear from his mouth : ''Who has Abraham fought anyways ?''

When fighters use quotes like that, it's pure bull**** forced into their mouths by their management !! As a true boxing fan, no one should ever approve idiotic comments like that whether a particular boxer is a favorite one or not....

I don't think they know what to do. At least I don't know it.

Fight against the great Zuniga? (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

Fight on the undercard of Pavlik-Mora? Arum already ruled it out.

...and that's why Arum doesn't offer Abraham a fight in AMERICA?

Deep down you know Pavlik and his team want no parts of King Arthur.

So by your reasoning you are telling that just because someone has fought good opposition that it's impossible for that fighter to duck another fighter?

And lets keep in mind that Pavlik only fought Hopkins because he thought Hopkins was way past his prime and even possibly close to being shot, otherwise Pavlik would have never fought Hopkins.

Who's to say Arthur would get a fair fight here? Axel Shulz and Felix Sturm are German based fighters who both got jobbed in title fights in the US. Let's not pretend foreign fighters don't get screwed wherever they go against the home guy, because they typically do. If the Abraham that fought today fought Pavlik, I have no doubts that Kelly would take him out. Which, oddly enough for fight fans, might actually ensure we get to see this fight.

Truth is, Ol' Bob wanted nothing to do with Abraham until he saw proof of the weight really getting to him. Well, tonight, he saw that. My guess is now that Abraham needs to move up, you might actually see Arum try to make it. That is, if Arum got his balls back after making a fight against what they thought was a shot fighter blew up in his face.
