Sturm will have his ass handed to him in a silver platter right in front of his homecrowd. :yep :deal
I honestly think Sturm can do quite well for a long period in this fight. He would outbox Abraham and make him look stupid. I don't have the confidence in his chin that he'll make the final bell and claim the points victory though.
Ayala came within seconds of managing to run for an entire 12 rounds. I'm talking about actually winning the fight up until a point, I think Sturm is capable of that. Samurai - what happened to you?
Well, that was my point. Ayala did his share of throwing if I remember correctly. AA 'came out of his shell' in his last fight compared to prior performances though. He has said in the past he knows he has to open up more. Was it just because he realized Marquez couldn't hurt him? I guess I'm one of the few that thought more of AA's last performance than most. Up until his last fight, I would have thought Sturm had a decent chance to outpoint AA because of AA's style. Now, I'm so sure. Would Sturm get the same respect Marquez got? I've only seen Sturm twice.

Funny that these bums are ranked higher than the Americans, isn´t it. People are taking about Sturm not beeing able to hold Abraham off or Abraham winning a decision, obviously haven´t seen much of both. Sturm wouldn´t need to hold Arthur off because Abraham is not pressuring his opponents. He fights only for 30 seconds per round and can be avoided with fast feets - and Sturm has both faster feets and better footwork. And Abraham winning a decision? How? He is far too lazy. The only way this happens is if he catches Sturm early in the fight big and following this Sturm goes into survival mode. Don´t see this happen. Imo thas the second best fight that can be made at mw right now. Sturm got his confidence back in his last few fights and he is a very capable technician with fast hands, the best left hand in boxing today, a good defence, stamina and he comes always up with a good gameplan and a great corner. Taking the Castillejo fight as an indication on how he would lose to Abraham isn´t a good think. Sturm made a mistake there he will never repeat - especially not against somebody like Arthur. His weaknesses are his shaky chin and his tendency to just stand in the middle of the ring with a high guard when under pressure. Arthur on the other hand is not as good technically, not as fast with his hands and feet, has not as good stamina but he has an equal good corner with equal good gameplans, a even better defence and power that is easily an equalizer to everything Sturm has over him. Abraham´s weaknesses are mainly his lazyness and his openness when he has his opponent in trouble. So, we have a fight were one big weakness of one fighter plays down right into the strength of the other. Sturm´s weakness of standing in the middle of the ring won´t be a factor since Abraham is not a pressure fighter and Abraham´s weakness of beeing too open when he has his opponent is in trouble won´t be a factor either because Sturm is no big puncher. On the other hand Abraham´s lazyness plays in Sturm´s card since he has the footwork and defence to avoid Arthur´s defence and is busy enough to win rounds purely on workrate. Same with Arthur´s power and Sturm´s chin. This fight ends either with a decision for Sturm or a KO win for Abraham. The chances that either happens is about 50/50. As a fan of Arthur I hope he wins but that inferior guys to Sturm like Jantuah went the distance with him makes me doubt this a bit. I lean slightly to Sturm but won´t put money on this fight. btw. people claiming that Sturm don´t want this fight, are really picking this out of the air. Sturm said several times that he and Arthur want to get it on and it´s all on their promoters to make it happen.
