I could care less and it wouldn't surprise me if Showtime releases him from his obligation. Ward/Abraham is a complete waste of time. I have no interest whatsoever in that fight.

Yeah, in the Showtime interview conducted with a translator he seemed well aware that he has drawn Andre Ward in the semi-finals and said that he will be prepared for that fight.

I would not be suprised if he did....he is too small for super middleweight and he just has not been the same in the last bouts.

All these too small for SMW comments are bull****. Yes, he might be more successful with his annoying and idiotic style at MW (What a lackluster division baring Martinez). But the guy needs to rework his style out. He has major tools, it's a shame he doesn't use them. It's his lack of strategy and versatility and not the size that's the problem here.

I suspect he's got known stamina deficiencies.

i guess im the only that likes this tournament

this tournament > anything else going on in boxing

Regardless of guys dropping out, you got the best fighting the best. It's better than promoters doing their usual handpicking of their opponents.

He should be suspended for what he's done to Andrew. The Nazi loses a fight and suddenly he wants to quit now? Oh BOO HOO this is boxing there are winners and there are losers he's even lucky that he got to fight. The Showtime contracts has very stiff penalties for fighters who choose to withdraw from the super six tournament without legitimate cause. Being a sore loser isnt a legitimate cause! His purse should be withheld and suspended from making any fight until the Super 6 is officially over.

Ward should not be allowed to have all his fights in his home town with his personal ref and judges! Ward should not be allowed to cheat any more. He won his first fight by illegal headbutt and should have been disqualified. Ward should have to fight Bute next. However, Ward would not allow Bute to fight in the tournament! Bute by knockout, but Ward will not allow such.

Yes. A southern one. They have very dark skin. Almost all of them live in Michigan, nowadays.

It seems AA's code has been cracked. I think smart fighters with enough slickness, patience and who are tough enough will continue to duplicate on what Dirrel and Froch have done. I expect Ward to certainly do it. Ward would make three bad style matchups in a row for him. I picked Froch to win by outboxing him, based on what Dirrel was able to do. I did not expect a complete shutout though. Well done by Froch.

I've never been a fan of his, but, I would like to see AA finish it out, though. It makes the tournament look bad and him look bad, if he just quits now, because he lost.

Let's have a Froch - Ward final now.

Glen Johnson to get a guaranteed shot at the winner.

    Sorted.
