You realize that this is a racial comment which kinda makes YOU a nazi?
The level of retartedness in this thread is awesome...

Yes AA got humiliated in the ring, yes he probably shouldnt box again in this division, he let himself and his fans down.
But give the man a break, everybody that steps into the ring and puts his health on the line deserves some respect, no matter how bad his performance may have been.

I think its about time to stop this "hes a bum"-bs and give Froch some respect. He fought a great tactical and couraged fight and absolutely neutralized a (maybe one dimensional, but still) very dangerous man and nobody should try to take away from that by saying AA is a *****, a midget or we.

I doubt Abraham will quit the tournament. He'll be back once he has licked his wounds. It was a very disappointing performance. B- performance, really.

You could edit the thread title (just add "n/m false alarm" or something) :good

Otherwise lots of people are bound to overreact to the title without reading through.

Is simple as far as I am concerned but.. I am not Abraham. Imo the beating froch gave him was easily on par with what calzaghe did to lacey, in fact it was even more one sided and we all know lacey was never the same again after calz. Abraham was pummelled for 12 hard rounds to body and head. When froch connected clean you could see Abraham sag. He was being hit with power and often. Mentally u could see he was ruined - the times froch would engage in a brawl saw Abraham eating leather and then trying to counter froch who was no longer there and back to his methodical stern jab. The jab was the key it was a very powerful shot and was coming from all angles in that froch carries his left hand low enabling the jab to rise and become a very effective weapon.

anyhow, for me Abraham fights ward, froch vs johnson and winner of final fights bute.
if Arthur don't want to know showtime must make a real effort to get bute in to face ward. I just don't think it fair that bute gets a shot at a fighter who has been punished throughout the super 6, especially froch, and be the much less shop worn.

oh and ward should not be allowed to fight at home any more in the tournie - it is obviously a big advantage coupled with his easy route to the later stages..

Super Six has shown that tournaments are awesome. Look at all the questions that got answered. A year and half ago the division was wide open.

I believe AA was the favorite or 2nd favorite at the start of the tournament. Now he's totally exposed.

Nobody thought Froch would do this good. He's like Rocky.

Ward's proven himself to be elite.

    Jermaine's shot.

Dirrell is a talented fighter but has no heart and will never do much.

    Green was a hypejob.

Johnson can still cut it as a gatekeeper.

Only Kessler is still somewhat of a mystery. It's a real shame that Bute didn't join the tournament. Damn coward.

a good call this.. there have been a lot of positives as mentioned above. There will always be negatives but they should not be enough of a reason to say tournies are not worth it. There is a blue print that needs polishing the next time a tournament is decided.

If he does, I for one will lose alot of respect for him.
Carrying on even with a high chance of another loss would be the thing a real man would do.

How about we do Froch- Ward final and just **** Johnson off.

Anyway Ward has had the easiest ****ing ride possible througout this whole joke of a tournament.

Froch already deserved to be called the best in the world

    Ward proven elite?:huh

All hes done is beat Kessler on cuts who had a bad day...and then hes beat Allan Green:lol: then was part of a shameful duck with his gay friend dirrell so they didnt have to fight each other.... then hes beat sakio bika....wow. Hes had the easiest ****ing route possible in this tournament and doesnt have the balls fight away from his back garden.

His win against Kessler is the most overated win in history, i doubt he could repeat it if he went to denmark like Froch did. And for that Ward gets bigged up as an elite fighter:lol:

Froch has the best resume of ANY supermiddleweight in the world. HE is the elite fighter in all this NOT ward
