I found it extremely unfair that the ref allowed Abraham to get treated by the ringside doctors! :huh:-( They actually helped Abraham by applying pressure to the cut and then cleaned his face off!!!!:huh:-(
I tought it was extremely unfair that the ref saved Dirrel when he was trapped in a corner with a bull**** warning about Abraham pawing with his left hand
Terrible stoppage. Dirrell was putting a beating on Abraham and probably gave him teh rest he needed to come on in the 10th.
pawing is a light way to put it. a realistic way to say it is he couldnt land cleanly on a guy standing in front of him so he held his arm out to atempt to control his movement and was warned that it is very illegal. 1 its not a punch, 2 he was not blocking a punch. and 3 it is a tactic used to prevent the other fighter from seeing the next punch.
they treated him for far too long. abraham was fine to continue fighting. he is tough as nails. he got caught a few times and they decided to get him check since the blood may have been affecting his vision. the time in the corner with the doc treating the wound along with the sheer duration of time was where the foul was.
