Ya -- the news says Lorenzo in Germany. Abraham is just not willing to quit ****ing around. Sauerland is down right delusional if he thinks this never ending string of no-hopers gives AA some inherent right to a fight with Pavlik. It's all smoke and mirrors with these guys. If AA really wanted the fight, Sauerland would do what he knows he needs to do to get it.

Abraham would have problems with Forrest, but not as many with the GREEN Lorenzo.

BUT Lorenzo CAN box and he has a good right hand. This fight will be much closer than people suspect.

Besides, Lorenzo will be somewhat prepared as he just fought a puncher from Colombia and showed good boxing ability and like I said, that right hand.

Arum made it sound that way, but sauerland is giving the Bob father a perfect opportunity to go back to the same old bull****. "Nobody knows who Abraham is" "the money isn't there" "he hasn't fought anybody" Blah . . . Blah . . . . endless ****ing Blah!

MAJOR upgrade but not insurmountable by any means. As an Abraham fan I am relieved, not worried. His stock will deservedly soar after he knocks Giovanni out. Pavlik will then be in the #2 spot chasing him. :good

If Abraham turns up in as bad looking condition and lacking motivation as he did against Simon he could be in for a tricky night. Lorenzo has some speed and skills. Not sold on his chin or defence though.

Does Lorenzo really have a chance? Maybe. A puncher's chance.

    Lorenzo isn't a hard puncher.

His chance is hope Abraham turns up looking as lethargic and lazy as last time. Yes, I know he's always lazy - but last fight took it to a new extreme.

If thats the case he might fancy his chances of outworking and outboxing Abraham from the outside, using his speed. I doubt it, but that is his chance as I see it.

No kidding. Even for Boston it's a bit late for St. Patrick's celebrations.

I really don't know about this one. No doubt what you say about Abraham's condition is true but Lorenzo was basically 'out toughed' against Marquez. He looked good in his last outing, but that didn't last long enough to get a good read from. Abraham is going to be MAJOR gut check for him, drained or not I would think. I might have to wait for the weigh in pictures on this one.

Vernon Forrest is a bigger threat than Giovanni Lorenzo? Yeah...bottoms up.

Lorenzo is the MANDATORY, your excuse of Pavlik fighting no hopers Lockett and Rubio, who would both lose to Lorenzo, Mora too. He's fighting these B-/C+ level mandatories simply because he's waiting on the Youngstown fighter to make up his mind or run out of Latin Fakes. Forrest is contractually obligated to 2 fights, a 10-rounder tune-up then a fight vs. Martinez, that's why it was interesting to hear Sauerland was negotiating AA-Vernon. Probably the pressure is on Forrest who doesn't want to break the contract, that's why he's taking this tune-up on April 24, which means he couldn't fight Abraham 8-10 weeks laters even if he wanted to. Too early.

Arum and Sauerland should negotiate the double-header. That's the best way to promote KP-AA.

Well, here we have the double edged sword. Do you think Sauerland wants the Lorenzo fight in the US? I'd have to think it would mean less money for that fight even if it did mean the Pavlik fight and bigger money later. Not sure the Pavlik fight would make up the money, but a win over Pavlik would mean more AFTERWARDS. I think we will see that Arum/Sauerland aren't THAT much different after all.
