Would love to see this fight ,just watched a carl froch interview , WTF, neways would love to see him go toe to toe with aa , see how he reacts to aa bombs when he comes exploding out of his shell:toney around round 5 or 6, good fight though thoughts....
i'll like to see how froch performs against kessler first. both arthur abraham and froch need to win their next fights, otherwise it takes a lot of momentum out of this fight, which has excitement written all over it. i would pick abraham to win by close decision in a very good fight.
I will always be biased towards Froch as he is an English fighter so i am going Froch. - but i see him struggling with AA. Froch is having real problems with his defence and can't afford to be taking shots from AA. If he can patch that up and box well he has the beating of him . I am not properly convinced by AA. I know a lot on here have him winning the supersix, but in my honest opinion i think he will struggle with Dirrell. He is pretty one dimensional and lacks a decent international CV.
I like Froch, he's a balls to the wall kind of warrior. But man oh man, Arthur is going to decapitate him.:scaredas:
I think Froch is going to get caught by that short/straight right AA throws, and then finished. Froch uses his left hand to guard his knee cap, hangs his chin out over his lead foot, and telegraphs his jab. Somewhere along the way AA will be able to capitalize on those flaws.
I favour Froch over Kessler, but with Carl's defense so lax eventually he's going to get caught with a bomb off AA and that should put him down.
To be fair mate, I think their styles favours a mismatch rather than a competetive bout. Carl Froch has no real defense, and will pay for it bigtime, possibly against Kessler in the next round of the tournament. The only real concern I have right now is the fact that Kessler looks thin and exhausted in his last few training vlogs. Something is missing from him, and I don't think he's the same he once was. :-(
not only that but if he consistantly rocks his left arm below his waist two time before flicking out that jab like he did in the dirrell fight he's just gonna be begging for aa to time a counter shot right over it.
froch's style is no good vs. aa...for obvious reasons that i know u know. as far as kessler...i almost want to say he's too nice and needs to get a mean streak about him or a chip on his shoulder or something. he's very hard not to root for once you've heard him in interviews, etc...but he seems very uninspired. after calzaghe he said with kind of a grin that "his dreams were crushed" and after the ward fight he said "at least im not the favorite anymore" not to mention not at least trying to give it back to ward and play rough with him. i hope he's really motivated vs. froch b/c i know froch will be.
I agree with the majority view here. I worry for Froch in this bout because his defense is so porous - and you cannot use your face to block the punches from a hitter like Abraham.
I think Abraham is going to take this one. As everyone has stated Froch's lack of defense is of huge concern in this fight, Abraham can end a fight on any given moment if you keep your hands down. Other factors are that Abraham is just a more complete fighter. Whereas Froch at least appeared to be more of a headhunter in his latest fight Abraham can work the body so that if the fight goes deep he can at least hope to slow down Froch's pressure.
