Pavlik and AA needs to happen this year before one or both move up.

Mora and Lorenzo won't stop that from happening so I don't mind these fights.

Putting both fights on the same ppv show makes sense......if Arum comes through.

I agree with what Wegner said after the Simon fight. If AA is in bad shape, he has zero chance against Pavlik who always is in shape. If AA will be in the shape of the 1st Miranda fight (even if Miranda broke AA's jaw in that fight) this bout will be as tough as it gets and no walk in the park for any of them.

Probably right but I doubt it was the worst eliminator ever.

Least he WON an eliminator. I mean..Gary Lockett was just sort of given the gig.

Like "Yeah yer Pavlik's mandatory. Don't ask how, don't ask WHY...just take yer beating like a man and collect that paycheck."

Pavlik said Lockett reminded him of Zertuche. Based on that I expected more fight, less assasination! In the first 30 seconds my sister said, "what the hell is this guy doing in the ring with Kelly! This guy is gonna get HURT BAD!"

Watching from the highlight reels of Pocket Rocket, I figured guts along would push him into the latter rounds.

Instead Pavlik did the right thing and got him out of there quick as a whistle.

Highly disappointed in AAs and Pavliks future opponents, as a fan of BOTH fighters, I would have like them to face a "little" bit more stiffer competition. Possible opponents for aa that I would have been happy with is felix sturm or mundine, I think he beats both and is better comp then this lorenzo guy. Possible opponents for Pav Daniel Gaele, sylvester or **** even Gevor, most people don't know the guy, but in my opinion he gave arthur his hardest fight up to date in my opinion. Anyway wishful thinking I guess.

Maybe. No official announcement on Pavlik as far as I know, but they have announced some of the under card for the fight.....

But why take chances at this point? What if they took risky fights, and one guy lost, or got his face mangled? We KNOW, from the record, that can happen. Why risk it?

You know Hermit it sounded like Pavlik was the more eager one to sign the fight more so then aa, with the whole forrest negotiations. But obviously pavliks management is taking more time. I honestly think Pavlik probably does not want to fight mora, and I bet he is letting his management know about it. As far as arthur, I think lorenzo is what he is. I also remember lorenzo calling out arthur a little while ago.

Lorenzo is a smack talker. He has claimed that Pavlik, Abraham, and Sturm are all ducking him. I think he has calmed down since the loss to Marquez.
