I remember seeing that this fight was on PPV, but is that only in Germany? Will the U.S. be showing this fight? After this fight, Abraham has expressed that he wants to fight a lot more in the U.S. so that'll be good if they can televise more of his fights, perhaps on SHO or HBO..
I hope so! Showtime seemed to look fondly on him leading up to the Miranda rematch (they even took the time to secure replay rights and dub a commentary track for their first fight) and he certainly didn't fail to deliver on the promise of excitement. Don't see why they wouldn't stay on top of him.
That's what I was thinking because SHO did show the second fight as well as re-did the commentary to the first fight.. You know, building his name up and trying to get him to be a known fighter to the U.S.. Should definitely be televising his fights to build him up for a fight with Pavlik.. Of course, thats the fight that should happen, a lot of people have no clue who Abraham is.. But the main reason is, I'm a huge fan of Abe and I wanna' see his fight on t.v. damnit..
What gets me is that Raul fought on the very same card as Abraham-Miranda, televised, and scored an exciting upset on their air no less (earning him the right to face Abraham before a Pavlik showdown, which the SHO commentators went out of their way to point out)! Perfect set-up. Blown opportunity. God damn MMA. God damn Slice-Shamrock. :-(
There really getting in on boxing at the moment. They show random fights of guys like Eubank, Benn, Hatton, Calzaghe, Hamed etc usually every night, and recently they've had Valuev-Ruiz and Povetkin-Sykes.
It's not on PPV here in Germany. The fight will be broadcasted by ARD which is a public TV station. If you're lucky it will be live-streamed here: http://www.mdr.de/boxen-im-ersten/5071711.html It might also be a good idea to have a look at the link below shortly before the fight, because the ARD will definitely post a link to a live-stream. http://boxen.ard.de/
The thing is is that I can't watch streamed fights, so that's why I'm wondering if the U.S. will be showing it on t.v. Maybe a delay or reply of it after the MMA fight?
