Tom_Tocca has said that Saurland went to the press AFTER they couldn't get Sturm to bite. Tom is a reliable poster.
What happen to the forrest fight? Wasn't there talk about abraham vs forrest and Pavlik vs Mora. I know the mora fight is on stand by cuz of pavlik's injury but what happen to forrest-abraham?
Lorenzo got ANOTHER eliminator after Marquez. Him and Dionisio Miranda. He knocked the other Miranda out quick.
Yep! I knew it! Thats why Oral pulled out of his scheduled fight with Russia's dangerous banger Pirog on the undercard of Kretschman vs Bakhtov. He had bigger fish to fry! Bad luck for Pirog who will now face Kofi Jantuah. Oral is a good choice by AA's camp. He is more or less on Lorenzo 's level, has a decent reputation,a good chin,is durable, and his style is fun to watch. A very mobile, fast, and active fighter. He for sure will win some rounds against AA,but I bet my house that he wont go the full route with the Armenian middle weight king. Smart business move, too! German based Oral has quite a lot of fans in Germany and he is far better known than Lorenzo there. My guess is that AA will k nock him out in the later rounds, but Oral is the type of fighter who can cause trouble to AA. Ayala.Gainer.AA's last foe. They all made AA sweat. I very much hope that Oral wont take a leaf out of Ottke's book and give it a try at sprinting! I for sure dont want to watch Oral running circles around AA trying to avoid any exchange of fists.
I live in Germnay and I can assure you that this isn't true. There was an official offer for sure... Regarding Oral, I don't know him, but he seems to be a tough guy. AA has to be in good shape, otherwise he's going to have a hard time in the ring.
what the..................... i dont care for all the pavlik - abraham back and fourth here, but cant sturm and abraham at least "unify" their pieces of the crown?? these guys fight out of the same country for ffs, and have held their respective titles for the same length. enough of these money milking "fights".
A fight Sturm vs. Abraham may happen next year for the sole reason of ZDF cutting their contract with Kohl. That means bye-bye TV money for Universum, and Sturm would otherwise have to fight for a couple of 100k's instead of a million like now. A unification on ARD with Abraham would mean a last large payday, and could propel Sturm into a big contract with a US promoter if winning. Most of Kohls fighter will leave him to Sauerland or a US promoter when ZDF really finishes its boxing section. BTW, if you take anything serious that Jeff M writes ... well ...
