AA did what he had to do. As a champion, it gets boring trying to come out and do your best fight after fight without any motivaton. A big fight changes any fighter's mentality/motivation. You can't judge Pav or AA off of their last fights. Until they fight each other, you won't know how either guy will come to the fight. AA's style is to uncoil after he checks out your arsenal out. Pav can't beat AA, and AA knows it.

Abraham seems to not throw a lot of punches early on and gets up to speed in mid rounds when the heat is on. Oral won the first 2 imo and scince than I think Abraham won the rest. Abraham may not thorw a lot of punches imo but he is very accurate and powerful with his snaps, this fight proved it.

good performance by Avetik Abrahamyan. :D

Abraham promised body shots and delivered body shots. Was countered a few times though, but he broke Oral down picking one power shot after another.

But WTF was the ref thinking? He threatened the Oral corner to stop the fight but 2 minutes and 3 knockdowns later he would've let Abraham KILL the Turkish fighter?

He would've decapitated Oral, I mean the not funny, permanent injury way if his corner didn't stop it. :patsch

Abraham has P4P power and Oral was getting "ABSOLUTELY BLASTED!!" in the words of Bob Sheridan. The guy gave it all he could but sometimes that's not enough.

As per Abraham at SMW? It depends on whether he keeps his current style. I think he'd lose quite a bit on points if he can't blast people out with his power. If he catches them I think he has a chance to end anybody's night at 168.

The man fought like he wanted to get KO'd. He dropped his hands, charged at AA, and stopped looking to win the fight. He quit.

When you take punches like that, I don't care if a fighter quits. His health is on the line, not yours. He has to live life with his kids, and come out of boxing clean, because once you enter boxing, you will not be the same as before you started boxing...that I know.

Yeah that was strange. I guess maybe he didn't think Oral was really hurt? That's my only guess really.
