When Abraham was in the middleweight-division he always said, he want´s to fight Pavlik and Sturm, but none of them faced him back in this time. So he moved up to 168.

Abraham said that Pavlik was ducking him and maybe Pavlik said the same about Abraham.

Who will win this fight if they fight now?

In which weightclass should they fight? Will there be any advantages for one of them at 160/168?

I think it should happen at 168, because Abraham was drained in his last fights at mw and both of them could make 168 easily.

I really hope they face each other someday after the Super Six.

I said repeatedly that AA was done at MW a year before he moved up. His one fight at SMW makes him look better but we haven't seen enough yet to really tell if he will be a different fighter.

Pavlik KO8 Abraham: Pavlik is the worst possible style match up for AA. If I were to genetically engineer a fighter to make KP look like godzilla on steroids, it would be an exact duplicate of Abraham. I'm not going to get long winded about it, but very few people spent as match time studying this particular match up as I have.

pavlik wins at MW, but he hasn't looked all that great when he moves up. he's a MW, plain and simple. it's a toss up at SMW, but I would still be leaning towards kelly if he fights smart. too tall, too rangy, and too much power for a guy who doesn't move around at all like AA. styles make fights.

The only time Sauerland ever talked money with Arum, Sauerland demanded a $2 million dollar guarantee at a time when AA was averaging about $600K per fight.

When Sauerland put the SMW tournament together Pavlik did not get invited. Abraham got set-up in fights with JT's corpse, a green prospect, and the guy with the worst defense of anyone in the tourney.

Now, who do you think Sauerland thought would win?

at 160 and 168, abraham will knock out pavlik 10 times out of 10.
pavlik is not a defense fighter, he is a big pressure fighter, so over 12 rounds abraham will have a lot of time to counter him, and pavlik chin is not bad, but it can't stand the abrahamers

Up to this point Abraham's career is nothing more than a carefully crafted marketing gimmick. Study his resume' in depth, and study 6-7 fights, then come back here and tell me with a straight face that AA is the real deal.

And no, Pavlik is not "over-rated." That idea is preposterous. Right now people think he will lose to Sergio ****ing Martinez. He is clearly one of the most under rated fighters around right now.

Over 12 rounds? AA wouldn't see the end of 8.

you don't get it. pavlik is a b+ fighter and abraham an a fighter.
i don't hate pavlik, i respect him, but they were never allowed to let him fight hopkins, cause hopkins took everything from pavlik, his confidence will never be back, he was completly outclassed, since then he fought only a c and d level fighter, and now he will face a b fighter, he will **** martinez for sure, but his confidence was his main power, and that he was unbeaten. this was taken away and so he is very beatable again.
pavlik has a decent chin, normal speed, good power, but no defense, bad footwork, and he is not fast!!!
abraham will counter pavlik with a big uppercut and the fight is over.
especially when he feels aa powers, he will be afraid, cause of his lack of confidence.

Abraham would knock Pavlik out cold faster than he did Taylor.

I stopped reading at the point where you referred to AA as an "A" level fighter. He has not done a damn think that substantiates your claim. His best win was Jermain Taylor's corpse. He went 12 full rounds with a guy who got knocked the **** out by Raymond Joval, and ducked Fulgecio Zuniga so he could fight the great Elvin Ayala. Abraham is the most over rated fighter in the world today, and that should not even be debatable.

This poll is a joke. Name one single win on AA's record that backs up this lop-sided lunacy.
