How is Dirrell the better boxer than Jermain Taylor, what has he done to be regarded as such?

Abraham was beating both Lajuan and Taylor with rounds to spare. How do you come up with the simple conclusion that he "can't" win by a decision?

    Lame response.

The evidence is there in his resume.

    He has KO'sd 25 of 31.

The others ? well they didn't really pose much of a challenge, and so not much motivation.

    Case closed.

Unlike Pav, AA doesn't need any excuses.

    He's beaten everyone he's faced.

He's never been down, and never been shutout.

It's Pav who NEEDS excuses for his canvas-kissing and utter beatdown by a man he said he was going to KO.

What post are your referring to because it sure isn't the one you replied too. Please. If it is too much trouble for you to accurately respond to the post you are replying too, don't even bother. I know misdirection is accepted by most of ESB, but not me.

So you believe Arthur can't win a decision against Dirrell, because he's got "twice" the defensive capabilities Taylor has?

Is that what you base your comment on, how about the fact that Arthur was beating Taylor with room to spare?

This is getting absurd now. You quote me but don't appear to have read what you quoted. I'm done with this.

It would be a great scrap with both having their moments. It would be a huge win for Pavlik if he could pull it off, but AA has the muscle and defense to weather Pavliks offense and I just don't see Pavlik handling AA's offense very well.

Pavlik's power is accumulative, while AA can end it with a right hand down the pipe or a hook. I think it would be a war and fight of the year if it happened, but IMO AA wins this on a TKO or a decision.

i'm about to start gettin' misty here....where the hell is landshark??? he isnt banned is he? i know tom_tocca isnt here anymore but its been a while since we had a proper pav/aa thread.

i think everyone can admit that there are a lot of what ifs here. what we know for sure is that pav got beat bad at 170 and aa has ko'd two guys above the mw level pav already put to sleep. we know aa's power is there. this would be a very interesting fight at 168. i'm gonna leave it at that until is see more from both at that weight. aa's concrete power alone isnt enough for me to write pav off. pav has the tools to beat aa but he does get hit.

this fight still has a good chance of happening down the road

You can imagine the **** I took for saying that about a year before AA moved up. I already knew it would be a better fight at 168 because AA was struggling with weight.

Damn, I leave the house for a bite to eat and check out the Avatar movie and before you know it I am pages and pages behind. Pretty sad when I feel like the loser who left the house to do something while you guys got to stay home and play on your computers....

Maybe if Kelly grew his very own Avatar and used it to fight Abraham he could crack that defense. :yep

Sad thing is, for all the pages, you missed nothing. I think Kelly would do just fine with the 'tools' he has now, thank you very much. :D
