As for the question, I´m not sure about 160, because I don´t think Arthur can fight at that weight any more. In my personal oppinion Abraham has the edge at 168.

The version of Abraham that fought LuJaun Simon would not last 5 rounds with Pavlik. Even Uli Wegner said Arthur would lose badly to KP at that point.

The version of Arthur that fought Jermain Taylor's corpse would do a bit better, but still get sparked. Unlike JT's corpse, Pavlik has a chin and is smart enough to slide over and throw a lead right, and that is just about all you need to beat Arthur "the can killer" Abraham.

Honestly Boo, I thought the version of JT, that fought Abraham was a much better version than the one that fought Froch. He didn´t gas and he moved well.

Some of your comments concerning Abraham and Pavlik tend to sound like "I just can´t give Abraham credit because I like Kelly". You have your view and that´s ok, but please don´t stress that Abrahamisgarbageandhasfoughtonlybumsandcorpses....

    1. Pavlik doesn't have the chin or defense to avoid Abraham's punches.
    2. Pavlik isn't the type of fighter to capatalize on a fighters mistakes.

#2 probably means you've never actaully seen a Pavlik fight. Either that, or you're not a very astute observer.

I'm a big Pavlik fan, probably not as big a fan as you are but I've seen most of his fights. Yes, you'll tell me he used the fact that Miranda couldn't fight going backwards to his advantages but Pavlik only fights one way, and thats going forward. Irrelevant.

And you'll use Taylor's low left hand as an excuse that he used his right hand to KO him, but that's Pavlik's best punch anyway. Also irrelevant.

Taylor also drops his right hand when he jabs, if Pavlik was the type to capatalize on mistakes he'd have slipped and caught Taylor with the left hook. But he didn't.

    Pavlik is what he is

Abraham knocks Pav's ass out at 168. I'm not too sure about 160.

At 160 Abraham hasnt a chance, Pavlik tall rangy and powerful, the Jab will break through Abrahams defence, kelly would keep him at the end of his ramrod jab (powerful discouraging jab) then starts breaking him down, to the body, at 168 it would be the same, kellY pavlik UD AT 160 AND 168

This poll is hilarious. AA's supporters always claimed he was weight drained at 160, and used that for an excuse in the Simon fight. The exact same fighter showed up to fight Jermain's corpse, and now you claim he is some kind of invincible monster. The worst part of the whole thing was that Jermain Taylor, of all people, appeared to have better stamina than Abraham. The guy is a bit of a joke, and will get his ass handed to him the first time he actually fights a world class boxer/puncher.

Pavlik's defense is still not got enough to avoid AA's canons. Pavlik is a great fighter who got a lot of disrespect lately (which he doesn't deserve), but he just hasn't the defense to win against Abraham. To think that Pavlik is able to take AA's bombs without a good D is not very realistic. He cannot do what he did against Miranda, because AA is a much smarter fighter with even more power in his punches. And: AA's punches are actually very fast and accurate, definitely not slow.

Would be a good fight, but at some point AA would hit Kelly with something he can't recover from. And even if he did AA is a very good finisher.

Not sure Kelly could really hurt AA with one shot. I'd be rooting for the American though.

Everyone has forgot about Kelly. It's ok. Once he starts knocking people out again now that his staph infection is a thing of the past, watch peoples outlook on him change. Boxing fans are fickle, in a year from now pavlik will be crowned king from alot of people that are now saying he's a joke.

    Booradley always brings up stats!

Ask Booradley what was D level fighter Miguel Espino's punch connect % in the fight!

Point is, Pavlik gets hit a lot and has poor defense and head movement!

Abraham by brutal and career ending KO!!!!!

I'm still wondering why the hell someone isn't smart enough to MAKE Abraham fight. Go out, land a few punches, step back and MAKE Abraham come forward and open up. I don't care if you just land on his guard, it is enough to win the round if he doesn't throw back. Wait for those last 30 seconds he likes to fight in. Don't just stand there and give him counter opportunities.
