Boo...I like Pavlik...and I think you're a good guy...but it's statements like these that could make Pavtard the new ******* on ESB. There is no reason to disrespect Abraham because you think he wouldn't stand a chance with Pavlik. It does not help your argument, it hurts it. Abraham is a well-respected fighter to most serious boxing fans whether they enjoy him or not and that shouldn't detract from Pavlik in any way. No more than respect for Pavlik should detract from Arthur.

I mean, if you think he's overrated, okay. No biggie. You think he matches up poorly with Pavlik, okay, whatever. But you've done nothing but write off anything and everything that he is or has done in every convoluted way possible on this thread and others. It's beneath you. Your conversations regarding Abraham look exactly like your conversations with Paul Williams fanboys who are running Pavlik down except you're on the other end this time. Irrationally running down a potential opponent of the guy you like. Overboard, buddy. Overboard.

I don't know what all this fuss is for when it comes to KP vs AA!!

If you have seen just a few KP fights you will realize that he gets hit a lot and at a high connect percentage so when the Pavlik fans try to make it seem as if KP will magically be able to avoid big shots from AA they are more than delusional!

Pavlik has been hit flush many times in his most recent fights and has been buzzed/stunned.

When Booradley say Pavlik should be "smart" enough to move to the side when AA throws punches then I have to ask Booradley why does Pavlik get hit so much if he's that "smart"?

As a PW fan it would have been ideal for PW to learn from his prior fights with southpaws how to avoid their shots but reality is he has a hard time still! Pavlik is NO different and will not be able to all of a sudden become avoidable!!

    Abraham by KO!

PS: Some fighters have "achille's heel" for example

    Paul Williams: southpaws
    BHop: athletic fighters
    Jermaine Taylor: stamina
    Roy Jones(current): chin
    Kermit Cintron: heart
    Ali Fuenka: judges(lol)

Kelly Pavlik: athletic fighter s and gets hit way too much

These are a few of my personal opinions feel free to challenge!!

I hate to break it to you but you're uncovering the big similarity between KP and PW. They're both fighters who have a tendency to start giving away physical advantages and make fights harder than they need to be on themselves because they like to fight more than box.. Pavlik picked off shots from Lockett with his guard very well and methodically broke him down. Then with Espino he mixed it up with a grin on his face and ate shots from him like he was hungry and Espino's gloves were hamburgers. Because he had to? No. He didn't have to. How many guys did Williams stick his face out for when he could have stayed on the outside and beaten them up from across the ring?

Your right Boxed ears another MAJOR flaw with PW is that he doesn't use his height and reach effectively!!

The big ? here is that we still don't know how Abraham will respond to a puncher at 168. Back to shelling up and laying on the ropes? His little 'wave in' of the opponent won't work if he doesn't have title and the home court advantage.

I think AA beats him pretty clearly and who knows, Taylor could hurt Pavlik and AA can definitely hit much harder than Taylor so he has what it takes to KO Pavlik.

Pavlik should just stay at 160, at 168 there are many fighters that can beat him.

Well to start Pav ducked AA at 160 and thats why AAis fighting in the supersix and fighting world class opponents, while Pav is fightn d class fighters. AA would use his good d and tire Pav out. He would pick up the pace at round 3 three thrown jabs than landing body shots and rights straights and start busting him up around the 5th round. I could see AA knocking him out around the 8 th round from an accumulation of punchs or he may knock him out with the first big punch he landes.

AA wins by way of KO! Dont cry Boo and Herm.

AA by KO! Pavlik's done **** all since beating Taylor. Three defences against bums in three years and a schooling from Hopkins. He should be stripped!

And AA's done nothing in his entire career... apart from beat a washed-up version of Taylor. Sensible.

For defending against his mandatories? What have you been snorting, dip****?

Posters who do not understand why I bash Abraham need only do one thing. Study the mans resume'. He has done nothing in the ring that substantiates this ridiculously lop sided poll. Rubio and Espino would be huge steps up in class compared to most of Abraham's title defenses.

According to this poll there is a 68% chance that AA would knock Pavlik out. Reality is that the chances of AA stopping Pavlik are probably less than 10%. I do think that Kelly Pavlik is a bit better than Lujaun Simon and Shannon Taylor.
