More vacuous bull****. Showing some gifs of your boyfriend doesn't answer the hard questions about how this match-up unfolds. Hopkins is SO much better than Abraham it's just pointless making comparisons against the two fighters. It's about as useful as the fact that Pavlik EASILY ironed out a fighter that gave Abraham hell on Earth for 12 rounds and left him eating baby food for weeks. Maybe the infantile ******s of General are lowering your standards, but, regardless, if you're not going to post some reasonable analysis you might as well just swan off.

Yep. 5 second clips prove everything to those whose minds are already made up.

That's weird...:huh I could have sworn I said it answered a question not "proved everything". Thanks for telling me what I'm saying! :good

And that's exactly it. The last straw was when he started implying some sort of equivalence between Hopkins' left uppercut and that of Abraham. Hopkins' **** has more technical ability than all of AA's body.

 When reasoning fails comes childish idiocy! :happy

You said Hopkins just feinted with the right hand, I gave you EXAMPLES of the many rights Hopkins landed at will on Pavlik. You said the "hookercut" stunned Pavlik, I showed EXAMPLES of Abraham's MONEY PUNCH he scored several KOs with. You said the left hand caused Pavlik trouble, I gave an EXAMPLE of the many other left hands giving Pavlik trouble before and an example how Abraham goes for that opening. Don't you think you got owned? But you know what, call me whatever you like, idiot I was called for pointing out several mistakes I predicted Hopkins to take advantage of, and guess who was the idiot after the fight? Some people just never learn.

That's not what I said. I was pointing out that Pavlik was actually doing a decent job of blocking the straight punches, and it was the feints and wide, unpredictable shots that were troubling his (admittedly rudimentary) defence.

I can't believe I even have to explain this to you. It's not like you can just land that shot at will. It required a frankly unheard-of amount of skill on Hopkins part to shift his balance that quickly from being far out of range to being able to deliver a precise power punch through a fraction of an opening in the guard. If you think Abraham has that level of technical proficiency, then there's no point in us debating. 4:30.

Pavlik has trouble with the left hand? How? I mean, it's a stupid statement anyway: the left hand is half of your opponent's arsenal, so claiming someone is vulnerable to a left hand is like saying they're vulnerable to opponents. Even then, I don't know how you could particularly justify it.

There's nothing complicated about this fight. It's just a question of whether Pavlik can get to the final bell; that's all. Abraham is not a technician. He has a lot of power and a good defence. Stop clouding your case with pseudo-analysis, because it convinces precisely no-one.

When AA loses to Dirrell, we'll see how these polls tip.

I think he has a very decent chance at a decision here. Look at his defense against Froch. The post KD Dirrell we saw against Froch would take EVERY round from an inactive AA, who would look like a statue compared to that activity. Dirrell has twice the defensive capabilities of the Taylor we saw against AA. AA can only win this fight with a KO and Dirrell is better than Lujuan Simon.

First he beats Miranda with a broken jaw and he "lost" in your eyes, then he ducks Marquez, beforehand he knocks Miranda clear out of the top picture.

Then he dominates Lajuan Simon who has never been stopped and showed a remarkable chin, and that's not good enough.

You Pavlik nuthuggers are jokers, who is in the super middleweight tournament and who is looking to fight 154lbs'ers?

    Yeah, thats right.:deal

I dont give Dirrell a chance. I think Allen Green would even beat him.

WTF does ANY of this have to do with my post you quoted? He "dominates" Lajuan Simon? :rofl Isn't that the fight even his trainer admitted he looked like **** after?

Home court advantage has been huge so far. Again, without the KO, I don't see AA taking this and I think Dirrell has enough skill/fear to avoid that. :D

Yes, Ulli wasn't happy because Arthur tried to force the knockout and ended up looking bad. That still doesn't take away from the fact that LaJuan was merely surviving.

    :hi:
