    I agree with this.

Groves beats Stieglitz quite comfortably, I think.

 As good as the lad was tonight he's not world class. European level fighter who's beatable. Doesn't have power and think Groves would catch him on way in. He was hurt by AA's shots last time out and Groves is a true SMW who punches with power i think he stops the lad in middle rounds.

Remember, in 90% of Stieglitz's fights he looks very, very ordinary. Sure he came out tonight looking to make an early impression and got the good fortune of busting Abraham's eye up, but he made his own luck and deserved it.

But...he's still an average fighter for the most part.

Abraham is clinging onto any claim of being a world class fighter at the moment. At 33 and never really being big enough or suited to 168 where his power is not that spectacular, but can't make 160 anymore, I don't know where he goes.

Should Groves even bother with Stieglitz or Abraham though? He's said his goal is to land a fight with Froch in the next 12 - 18 months. Carl has said numerous times he doesn't give a **** about the WBO belt so it would make no difference if George held it.

He did say he'd fight him or DeGale if they became mandatory though, maybe Groves should go the eliminator route instead? Perhaps a fight with Adonis Stevenson? Just a thought.

He's a despicable character, IMO. I still think a lot of that comes from the OTT admiration for Hearn.

But either way - Sky seem to get a lot less slack than BoxNation does. I can understand why BN is the way it is considering budgets, access, etc.

That's pretty much it. Let's not build Stieglitz into some sort of monster after one performance.

Froch schools DeGale, Groves and Stieglitz.

Stieglitz could fight like that from now on

He should, you can't have all your eggs in one basket (the Froch fight)

Why not take that fight? The money will be very decent, there is a belt on the line regardless of whether Froch cares about it, it still counts for something for Groves personally, and its a fight he would be a good favourite for.

If you can't beat Stieglitz who is all arms hooked up to a diesel engine you're going to get battered against Froch anyway.

Got a funny feeling Groves will pull out of May 25th to fight Steiglitz on the Haye undercard in July. Just to obvious.

    Where does AA go now?

This, tbh i dont see the point in a Froch fight yet because Groves isnt established, if he beats Stieglitz then has another fight then fights Froch at least he beat Stieglitz, if he fights Froch and then loses now hes a bit ****ed

I think Sky gets more stick than BN, and allot of he Hearn admiration comes from a dislike of Frank.
