can see groves getting a mandatory shot.

doubt the german camp would make a voluntary.

Sky's budget will also take into account production.

Still, for me BoxNation should be held to a higher standard than Sky when it comes to boxing coverage. When it comes to boxing both fail to deliver but Sky are allot better right now for me.

That's understandable though. BN are funded entirely through FW, he said so himself and he's bleeding money because of it.

Sky are a major organisation worth billions and each sports department gets a massive budget every year. If anything you'd think Sky would hire some better pundits and hand some other promoters some dates, they can clearly afford them. If they make a loss it doesn't matter because their other sports will more than make up for it with their revenue.

    Really?

I think BN has shown a great standard considering it has nothing to offset its costs, no other revenue streams. Ignore the domestic stuff (which Sky is a lot better at) - the international stuff has been top notch.

Is it true or not? If it isn't, then tell us, what has he learned?

I can't see how any boxing fan can make that statement. Around 1 domestic show a month plus Prizefighter against the number of cards that BoxNation shows?

Mind you I don't count HD or a nicely decorated studio set as being as high a priority as actually showing fights.

I don't think that financing should really come into it.

Certainly when I added up the price I paid for Sky boxing (dividing the £15pm by 4 sports) compared to BoxNation Sky was far better.

    For me;

    Sky domestic > BoxNation international.
    Ringside > Bunce Hour

Sky also do more boxing documentarys and cover more press confrences, weigh ins etc. Also its in HD, doesn't matter to some but matters to me.

But maybe I am biased as I want Frank be finished lol.

True. I have criticised Boxnation in the past but recently they have definitely outdid Sky, and the way things are panning out at Sky, crap card at Wembly, PPV coming back for Froch-Kessler and only 20 shows per year, I am very grateful that Boxnation are still in business. My payment for Sky this month was the value of three PPV cards, but what **** value I got for my money considering all I watch is boxing.

I think most people on here are supportive of BoxNation, they just wish the channel was better than it is. It should be better than it is too, and if they just made more of an effort with production values and got other promoters on board, it'd be a perfect channel for us boxing fans. As it is though, it's quite a disappointment. I hate all the constant bitching about Sky/Hearn, they need a proper presenter, the commentary is horrible, I wish they didn't talk up fighters like Karpency and so on. If the channel had a bit more money and wasn't so biased towards Frank, it'd be brilliant.

Tonights fight had nothing to do with Hearn. If Bunce wants to be critical of Adam Booth fair enough. Bunce was being pathetic as any chance he gets he slags of Hearn.

If the only thing you watch on TV is boxing fair enough, but P4P for me Sky Boxing beats BoxNation.

Oh please Rob, no way is ****ing the domestic rubbish matchroom and sky feed us better than boxnation international. If watching Dazzling Darren fight average opponent after average opponent is good for you then fair enough, keep tuning in!
