No, it was because Setanta and Frank had to agree an exception - it wasn't that anyone overrode the other.

 Hey, Im sat here watching Froch - Dodson (after suffering Froch - Dirrel), sipping a bit of rum, listening to a bit of Toots and the Maytals and just want some clarification to make my evening complete :D

Thats not what I said. You misled SMS to believe one type of contract automatically overrides another type of contract. It doesn't.

If an existing exclusive contract prevents another type of contract being signed or affects the terms that that contract is signed under then thats a totally different matter.

I know that I didn't have much of an education (I did actually but for the sake of this exchange I'll deny it)....but as far as I'm concerned "thats pathetic" is a statement rather than an answer. :thumbsup

That's what all this is over?

In terms of boxing, BN is obviously superior to Sky (as it should be). Well it is unless you have an agenda against a certain promoter...

When I signed up for BN I was promised live title fights most weeks - it may have been higher. I don't want to get drawn into a BN/ Sky argument. The best compromise would be a channel which is a mix of the two. Good domestic bouts and an international program with the best fights being shown.
The production values of BN are fairly poor whereas Sky would edge it on points. it would be nice to uncover a couple of truly unbiased, professional presenters that didn't toe the party line, but that is being naive.
Here's an idea, ...Given the choice, who would you ideally like to present a boxing show?

And sports science, Gaz. You're well behind the curve on that.
