 ..... I still love Duran....I don't think that we would be having this Broner, Burns, Vazquez debate if he was around at the weight

I used to agree with you. Even Ken agrees with you.
I was outraged at the time, my father even more so, but looking back at the fight now, I'm not so sure. It makes no difference now. Duran went on to be an all time great and Ken went a wee bit mental, travelling the world trying to kill him.:nut:yep

Duran and Buchanan would both stuff Broner's brush up his arse.

Im only just coming to terms with it :-(

When we have fantasy matchups on here these would be good ones....Duran would brutalise him and Ken would just goon him, box his head off

Duran was a monster and Ken was one of the most skilful boxers of his time.

Depends on Haye's opponent IMO. If GG is fighting for a world title and Haye is just fighting some high ranked bum I.e. Adamek, Arreola or even Helenius then probs not. If Haye fights a Klit though, and its a Double world title show then I think Groves would lap that up with his bro Haye!

    Adamek isn't a bum.

Helenius on the other hand is.

Neither are bums. Adamek is a very different fighter at HW than he was at 200 though

He was excellent at 175, though clearly weight-drained when he fought Dawson.

No chance imo. He needs another 5-10 fights at least I reckon.Judging from what I have seen in Groves career so far including the other week and judging what I have seen of Abraham's career and Stieglitz tonight.
