when arthur abraham and kelly pavlik meet each other in the ring, i believe the fans are in for a great night. abraham and pavlik are probably the two best men in middleweight right now. pavlik hits very hard, probably as hard as abraham does but abraham is in another league, he is tougher and more skillfull than the amateurish man from ohio. i hope the fight happens and i will root for arthur abraham.

This fight needs to be made within the next six months if Pavlik decides to stay at MW.

pavlik ktfo the man of the divison. but if you still think he's amaturish, then so be it.

abraham does not punch harder than pavlik. pavlik has proven that he can knock anyone out from contenders to unified champ. :deal

abraham was also damn lucky he survived against miranda. i watched that fight, and if it wasn't for all the delays, excess penalty points and such, most likely miranda would have been holding that belt.

oh, pavlik made easy work of the man that smashed abraham. not bad for a amature.

really people gotta look at fights with a cooler head. and if they are not emotional then they gotta sharpen the tools in their shed, otherwise people will think you dont have an ounce of boxing knowledge  .

i think the fight between abraham and pavlik will come down to stamina. and while abraham has a nice powerful right hand, he doesn't throw constantly like pavlik, and with ko power in both hands either. abraham throws as hard as he can, then takes a breather until he goes for another power punching combo. pavlik wont give him a moment to breathe.

anyway im sure your just joking. if i remember rightly you backed taylor over this "amature"

Pavlik can make Abraham back up. To me, Kelly is the favorite.

    fluxstuff,

firstly, thanks for the spelling correction. i just get a warm fuzzy glow in my belly when i get educated by a wanna be teacher or maybe teachers pet?

anyway, i didn't say miranda was outboxing him. but he busted him up pretty bad and it could have been stopped. you know, tko or something like that. but noooo. they tried everything. i mean sure, miranda fouled and deserved to get point deductions, but so what?

did that also require the doctor to spend ages checking abrahams jaw, which in turn gave him some recovery time? bull****.

abraham proved he had heart, and the ability to focus through adversity. i credit him for that. but dont tell me the delay/s were perfectly legit. the jaw was broken by a punch. not a headbutt so if the doctor wanted to spend 5 minutes examining such a bad injury the fight should have been called off.

and i've also watched enough pavlik and abraham fights to feel really comfortable in believing pavlik will beat abraham. it's opinion of course, but when people get on after their fighter gets his ass kicked, and then states a abc belt holder is gonna do even better when the evidence points to the contrary, then they are just bias, haters, racist, or maybe a little unobservant.

i picked pavlik to ktfo taylor and i was right. so yeah i do have boxing knowledge, teacher. :good and i pick pavlik to ko abraham in the later rounds.

P.S. i forgot to add. you are right that pavlik can be vunerable to power shots. but considering he walked through miranda (and no, i dont buy weight loss as a reason), while abraham nearly lost his fight with miranda, i would say their toughness is the same. hell, i wonder if abraham's brain could recover from about 50 power shots from taylor like pavlik absorbed? a broken jaw is painful, but it didn't spark abrahams brain. how would abraham react to getting scrambled? and in case you missed it. pavlik has already proven to be a far more deadly finisher than abraham. sure abraham finished his last opponent is exciting fashion, and it was indeed an awesome knockout. but guess what? pavlik does that too, and to the unfied champ. gevor is a contender to an abc belt. taylor was the former unified champ who had beaten quality opposition? hmmm, which ko was more impressive now?

pavlik beats AA imo. pavliks too long and will probably keep abraham at the end of that jab. pavlik's got a very good punch and throws in volume, while AA fights in spurts and goes to a shell when asailed. i think abrahams a hell of a fighter, but pavlik looks to have much of an advantage. also, in terms of recent fights pavliks KO'd better fighters than AA's last 2 opponents.

I dont know who will win, But I will say this, Abraham will put up a better fight that Taylor did. HBO needs to get this matchup going ASAP.

Come on guys, you know how boxing works. Pavlick aint gonna fight Abraham for a good while. He's just become linear champion of the division, and before that had a war with the highly dangerous Miranda, he isnt going to step into the ring with another risky opponent just yet. Plus, do you think AA is dying to get on the end of Pavlick's right hand?

fact ist: pavlik went down against fighters and came back!
abraham never ever toched the canvas.

    both are undefeated.
    both hit very hard.

    abraham fought the better competition.
    pavlik beat taylor.

    pavlik is taller.
    abraham is faster.

i think we have the best two fighters in the middleweight division and they are champions. arthur has such a big heart, he is very brave and unbelievable strong. i really believe abraham will knock out pavlik in an epic battle. sorry, all you american folks, but your man is the second best in the worls. be proud! he will be beaten by the best when facing the current ibf-champ.

Pavlik is the best middleweight. He shows with Miranda and Taylor. Pavlik if he wins Tayloer once again in rematch , he will lead for long time. I think only Calzaghe can beat him if Pavlik moves in the super middleweight.

Aside from the standard 1-2, what else does Pavlik do? Taylor just has no chin or defense anyway and Miranda was drained from the weightloss and has poor defense...

    :verysad

You've seen the KO? He threw beatiful short, crisp hooks and uppercuts from both hands. Taylor has a decent chin - Pavlig is a big puncher. Pavlik was also weight drain for both Miranda and Taylor fights (and he's bigger).
