Anybody who continues to fight in the condition Abraham did against Miranda is exempt from being called a coward, regardless of what happens in the future. Froch outboxed him and completely exposed Abraham's lack of footwork and ability to close the distance against a taller opponent who uses that to his advantage. if i remember correctly the ring referee waved the fight over when sauerland said something to him and the fight went on despite the signal from the referee that it was over. AA knew that he would win that fight if it went to scorecards like sven ottke did with his great fights

his trainer was right, AA is a disgrace and a nightmare for a trainer. Boxing is not for pussies, you do get hit i this great sport, sometimes a lot and even knocked out - something AA didnt want to..

A trainer is like a parent, like a dad. Imagine losing a school yard fight and your dad calling you a coward.

Imagine Cus calling Mike Tyson a coward after his loss to Buster Douglas.

Imagine Roy Jones Sr calling Roy Jones Jr a coward after his loss to Antonio Tarver.

Imagine losing a fight and telling your parents and getting a beating.

That is what Abraham is dealing with. These sorts of words can ruin a fighter. He may never be the same.

 

Easy to call someone else a coward when it's not you that's doing the actual fighting.

Pretty sure Abraham has proven his badass-ness before. And if he doesn't pull out of the tourney with consecutive loses, then he will prove it again. I thought Abraham should have given more than serious thought of replacing trainers after the Dirrell fight.

 

Wow it's even worse than we thought. The trainer (I wont even mention his name) said "he has no honor in his body to allow himself to get beat up like that. That was shameful."

Terrible... This is the kind of person who if they are a parent would have their son commit suicide for getting a B in a class. "You are a moron! You've dishonored our family allowing yourself to get a B. I'm ashamed that I made you!"

Now I think we can see why Abraham has the attitude he has in the ring.
