Right, I said pro so you couldn't bring up your amateur exploits like every other clown on this board when they're called out on their own bs. Take your "lol.." back to facebook where you belong.

Perphaps when you're mixing it up with the hardest hitting SMW who switches from technical boxing to brutal aggression and back every 30 seconds you'd see things differently.

I actually hope that Abraham can bounce back from this. People have seemingly written him off.

Can't really blame Wegner for being pissed. His boy lost to Carl Froch 120-108.

Exactly. He should apologise for his comments. Calling AA a coward for the Froch fight is like calling Marquez a coward against Mayweather, or Byrd a coward against Wlad. Sometimes there just isn't a lot a fighter can do against a good opponent who is naturally bigger and fights a style they are incapable of breaking down

Poor Abraham, the beating he's taking out the ring is even worse than in the ring!

Disagree. Dirrell was even better equipped to outbox Abraham, but Arthus still came on strong in the 10th round and certainly looked like there was a realistic Ko chance before the foul. He kept trying against Dirrell even while he lost the rounds. Against Froch, there were all kinds of openings, Froch often came close enough for Arthur but he didn't do anything. Not saying he would have won, but he certainly didn't need to lose like that.

It's a good thing. Most people will either laugh at it or think the trainer must be nuts to go public with such statement, but Abraham is one of a kind, he's super calm all the time, and it seems it takes desperate methods to get to him or you'll never get his attention.

BILD asked at the airport the same thing: Arthur, are you a coward? And he answered in his typical calm and collected way "of course not, I just couldn't get to him." Almost funny how he didn't find the queston offensive.

But it's an open secret ever since the Miranda rematch (or maybe before) that Abraham lost his motivation, and he never really liked pushing his training to the limit. His style reflects his boxing approach well, but you cannot compete at the top if you're not 110% dedicated, and he's about at 60%, and Wegner is doing a good job hurting Abraham's feeling through the media, to get his freakin attention. Not that motivation could've made a different outcome, but AA simply settled in waiting and waiting for the openings and the brawl the never came.

Funny thing because he DIDN'T do a horrible job on Saturday at all, I though he had a very sharp jab that snapped back Frochy's head several times, but he had little success with his power punches, and that's because Carl set the distance well. AA's typial tactic is cutting the ring down and throwing a wide powerful left hook to make the opponent move into his short precise right, but Froch never let that happen, and Arthur just waited and waited for Carl to walk into it. Also, he let Froch move forward, he at least could've been the guy to go ahead to make Carl's life a bit harder. You can't compete with this attitude and I'm glad Wegner is looking for his attention.

How bout Roger? "Be you, that's all you gotta do, is be you."

In all seriousness, I know what he means when he says it and it's legitimate advice, I'm just joking around.

No it's not, it's really funny that you people don't understand this.

JMM was doing everything he could, AA could have tried lots of different things but he seemingly didn't have the balls to. Hell, he even could have done the same thing but with more balls a la what he did in the 12th, and I'd wager he'd have gotten the KO, judging by how close he got (not saying he got close to a KO, saying he got close to Froch and was able to land). You could tell by the reaching punches he was throwing he was scared of Froch's power, can't believe you people can't see this. For anybody, much less an experienced boxer to thy to land punches when he's clearly too far away, it's clear they're too scared to get in range. Can't believe this is the guy who fought with a broken jaw.

A trainer is supposed to do more than hold up mitts during training. Devising a gameplan is also one thing you're supposed to worry about. Wegener is a total moron and Abraham was lucky to ever to this level with that awful style of his.
