Abraham's OWN TRAINER calls him "a coward" - wow

Abraham's style of making earmuffs and waiting for his opponent to finish punching before countering is of a low level amateur. The trainer ought to check himself before allowing a supposedly world class fighter to employ such a style.
I'd also ask, has Wegner ever fought on with a broken jaw? What was his pro record?
Has Abraham lost the fire? Possibly. But no man who gets in the ring at that level is a coward.

 

Abraham's trainer is a tactical moron. Abraham's loss to Froch was over 50% tactical. The fact that he says "Abraham was punching so hard, he should have just hit him" shows his boxing idiocy.

Before the fight, I was already thinking Froch would win a UD using jabs and bodyshots.

By the 2nd round, I was already thinking Abraham should feint the jab and duck under Froch's jab with a right to the body followed by a left hook upstairs.


stop being a coward and punch him? what kind of **** advice is that?

 

While you may have a point that constructive criticism might be better than pats on the back, an even better idea might be to come up with a gameplan that's different from all of Abraham's previous fights seeing as he's in a completely different situation at the SMW class.

And if Abraham's confidence is gone, I think most trainers would err on the side of caution instead of "lighting a fire" by calling their own fighter a coward.
