    It more looks like that Pavlik won't defend his title at 160 any longer.

    That's what a German article says about the situation. Seems like I was right and that Pavlik, if beats Hopkins, will go on and fight the winner of Joe Calzaghe vs. Roy Jones Jr. in April next year.

    So will Abraham go on and fight Ronald Wright before stepping up in weight or will he directly head to 168 after his fight this weekend...?

    Winky is good if not Pavlik,but it would be a dissapointment not to see the 2 best MW's fighting

    I guess it makes no sense to talk about Abraham when you have a PPV event coming up with Hopkins. Pavlik can open a new book of opportunities right after this 170 lbs non-title fight but I seriously doubt that he will not defend his MW title if the money is right and the opponent is chosen. Abraham has been having difficulties moving down back to 160 so let's see what happens next with Marquez... Abraham's team should just focus on that one and keep their fighter's mind away from future options for the time being.

    The promotion always has to think ahead, though the fighter has to concentrate on his upcoming fight...this has nothing to do with Abraham r Pavlik but with their respective managements...

    If Pavlik can get a fight with Calzaghe then he should def take it over Abraham. If he doesn't fight Calzaghe then he should def fight Abraham.

    This pisses me off, I'd rather see this fight way more than a fight with Calzaghe. But obviously the public wants that fight more so his move is understandable. I just hope they change their minds.

    Well the management also doesn't want to get there fighter thinking ahead esp when right in front of you is Bernard Hopkins.

    The only way Kelly doesn't fight Abraham to unify the titles, is if Joey and Endswell beats Jones and steps up to the plate.

    Other than that, you will see KP and AA.

    I want Calzaghe to fight winner of Dawson-Tarver after Roy.

    I want winner of Pavlik-Hopkins to fight AA, and the winner to fight Kessler.

    ohhh man pavlik's a dick, i know hes looking for big money showdown
    but comeone this should not become one of those 'what if' situations
    pavlik should do whats right and see who is the main man at middleweight
    otherwise there will be BIG UNFINNISHED BUSINESS

    and i thought pavlik didnt duck anyone he was supposed to be a old school fighter, my ass

    Winky Wright presents a tough task for AA. If the fight comes off I predict an upset, Wright UD AA.

    I suppose from Pavliks point of view Hopkins and Calzaghe are "now or never" fights, he can afford to make Abrahams wait knowing that fight will still be availiable after Calzaghe.

    That would hardly be an upset. Wright is the far more recognized and better ranked fighter than AA.
