That's a different thing to a fight being a robbery though. They were a little wide, but not excessively so. Have we seen the score breakdowns? Here's another Alvarez-Trout example that Graham Houston used. I think it applies here: The cards were all pretty close - giving Martinez all four of the final rounds does seem a little much, but not impossible. I sometimes think about Mayweather when looking at low output fights. He doesn't throw a huge amount of shots, but he shuts the opponent down and lands so cleanly and consistently that it's impossible to ignore his dominance. Even when guys swarm him, he makes their misses so obvious and his counters so sharp that he clearly wins the rounds. The best example of when he didn't was against De La Hoya, who used output to keep it tight. That was an SD because Floyd wasn't landing so comprehensively that it was beyond doubt, but Oscar wasn't really getting much done.
I thought Murray nicked It but I don't think It was a disgraceful decision. I know a lot of probably said this but Martinez looked awful It's probably time for him to call It a day.
I had it pretty much a draw watching it live, but watching again I had Murray taking it by a point, and pretty clear if the second KD was counted. It wasn't a robbery as such but under the circumstances Murray would have to have killed Martinez to get the draw.
