He certainly can, Martinez is not untouchable. Whether he can really do it is a matter of question, I hope we'll see the fight happening!

Sure Foreman had tons of heart, and I respect the hell out of him for the way he conducted himself, but he is a very poor fighter in terms of his skill. His heart is the only thing that made him a World Champion, though he deserves credit for that, but he kinka sucks. I thought Carl Froch was unskilled for a champ, but Foreman takes the cake.

Nonsense, he has pretty good boxing skills, but with Cotto being able effectively cut down the ring, land his jab and bring physical things into the fight, Yuri couldn't fight his fight and tactically it was over. He was still damn impressive vs. Santos who I didn't consider entirely shot, just past his best. Yuri made him look shot.

martinez would likely beat cotto with his speed, but with steward on cotto's back who made cotto to box more than to brawl (pac-cotto), miguel have a big chance to outpoint martinez ala cotto-mosley....

In my eyes, Martinez is the hardest guy to beat in the LMW division...Cotto can do what Quintana did to Williams but 10X worse and break him down...Martinez in the other hand can match Cotto's speed and counter ability and it would make one hell of a fight if you think about it. Cotto is just too CLASSY and TECHNICAL for Williams.

I'm confused. I watched the fight and in all honesty (whether you call me dumb or blind, i don't care) I only gave cotto round 1 in the first 6 rounds of the fight, then I got tired and went to sleep.

I didn't see a cotto making a comeback, I saw a man struggling to land his patented left hook.

You can say that cotto is leading in that fight, and i won't complain but the way you typed that opening post gives me the impression that you saw cotto administering a beating.

    I'm really confused. Peace!

When the fight goes 12 rounds the first 6 rounds might not be the most important part. Many fighters start to dominate in later rounds, like Bernard Hopkins etc

as far i know Yuris game plan was to come strong on the second part of the fight

so we will never know what would have happen if there is no injury
