I wasn't here when this thread was first made, but I'm 100% sure he would have gottem destroyed and KO'd by Lewis before the championship rounds. The stoppage as a result of the cut was the best thing that could have happened to Vitali.

 

no, look at this, vitali is stunned by a lewis right and lurches forward to hang onto lewis then as lewis wrestles out from under his grasp he shoulders lewis as he tries to hang onto him, vitali is out on his feet as lewis hits him with another uppercut at the bell, he isnt defending himself or punching. He comes up from a clich with a blank expression on his face that seems to be saying, "where am i? what hapened?"

The referee can be seen havn a close look at vitali as the bell goes.
