Maybe if we all cry enough the officials will change the results.

You gave Loma round 12? Right so how does this work?

Because Lopez out worked and "controlled" Loma through 7 for me, if you use the same scoring criteria you're using for round 12

Because some are saying "the better quality of shots were landed by Loma in a couple of those early rounds".. so now it's quality and not output or work rate, number of punches landed or hurtful punches?

Then we go to round 12 and the same people are saying "Loma won round 12 because Lopez was on the back foot"

Ok well Loma was on the back foot for the first 7, he was out worked in those rounds.

In round 12 Lopez landed the more hurtful and powerful shots in the last minute, big shots.

So what are we doing? Because it sounds like to me.. if Loma didn't do much, was out scored, was on the back foot, he apparently landed the "better Quality"

But When Lopez does the same in the 12th, lands the more telling punches, the "better quality" we go back to Loma apparently controlled the round and landed more tippy tappy shots.

It seems people are creating scoring criteria each round just suit Loma and justify a a closer fight.

I just told you how the 12th round worked. Lopez did not hurt Loma in any way in the 12th, while he was hurt/rubbery twice himself. He just didn't get it done. And he seemed to initiate the headbutt for the cut. A sign of weakness.

Scoring cleaner and harder punches matter. Staggering your opponent matters. Your opponent being on fawn legs matters. And you add in a cut that seemed to come from fatigue from a fading fighter matters.

I said the rounds I gave Loma. Ward had a draw and did so without giving Loma the 6th and 12th, as I did. So you add in the rounds I did not give Loma that Ward did (2, 7) and you get 8-4 Loma.

This is simple stuff. It's a judgment sport and people see things differently.

It's ok to disagree. But I'm comfortable with what I saw and with who saw the fight similar to how I did.

All respect to Lopez. He's a hell of a fighter. There was no "robbery" and I have no problem with the outcome of the fight.

Round 2 and round 6. I've explained my reasoning for round 6. Now let's hear yours. Round 2, this is a very low volume punching round however you can't just score the fight for Lopez when his main punches that actually landed where one body hook and a jab right hand to the body (where Loma is actually retreating and taking the impact).

Lopez best work was 2:20 to 2:10..most of these shots did not land. The right hook to the body landed on the elbow but the left hook landed clean (great shot). The right hook before this did not land and was taken on Lomas glove and grazed the ear. The shot after the two hooks hit Lomas arm/shoulder.

1:05 to 1:00..Lopez touches Loma with right hand to the body as Lomas moving back.. Loma lands very clean left hand and then a lighter follow up jab.

0:33 Loma lands jab/right hook... Just.. Tho.. But it 100% lands

0:10 Loma lands straight left lovely right hook then stiff straight left which partially connects.. At the same time Lopez lands a left hook with inside gloves which lands but isn't clean.

Granted points for Lopez for pressing the action but Loma landed more cleaner punches. 10-9 Loma

If you want to debate this round please give your justifications. And if you can't see the landed shots slow it down.. Yes we don't see the fight in slow mo but you can't just score the round on someone for punches that don't land. Loma 100% won this round

I'll get to the other rounds in a bit as there were several "close" ones.. Round 2,6,8,9,10,11 makes it a draw. I'll have to review 3, 4, 5 and 7 again.

I never said Loma won I said he landed the cleaner punch's obviously that doesn't necessarily mean you won the fight.

I can’t believe there’s actually a debate about this fight. I watched it three times, and I say 116-112 at worst for Lopez. Loma lost. Accept it. I wish he and his fans weren’t being such poor sports about it.

Was my first taste. I couldn't believe how smooth it was. Good stuff! Not totally blind, just couldn't focus, but it was at the end of the night and I had a stomach full of edibles, a few glasses of Jameson, some Dalwhinie, Talisker and a couple others I can't recall, and even some Jagermeister, but that's medicine so it doesn't count. Here's a tip for the kids out there. Keep the liquor neat and you won't get much of a hang over if any... mix it and yer gonna pay dearly.

Yep. One time I told the bartender "everytime you see me have a different drink for me, whatever you can come up with."

Never felt a hangover like that before. Had everything from shots, chick drinks, Gin and tonic.... never again haha.

I commented to my friend with me that without a crowd you could really hear the body shots that Lopez was landing on Lomas BODY not ARMS.
