    A couple of points here.

    Your final sentence assumes that Canelo is more concerned with money than legacy.

    A generation hence, nobody will care about the money but Canelo will have been labeled a ducker.

    (It's quite likely that Canelo would rather take the fight but Oscar would prefer the big money.)



    Second point, as soon as Canelo loses again, he's no longer the A side. And Junior is far from a gimme.

    It depends how shot he is.

    The best version of Junior at 165 beats any version of Canelo we have seen so far.

    Would be lucky to do 600k PPV's. You must haven't been paying attention to recent trends and technology. PPV is a dying business model.
