Why not? Solid guy but nothing super tough after such a draining fight. Khan recieved a lot of punishment and deserves an easier fight and Peterson is top10. I'm in for that.

But why? he got a robbery draw vs ortiz, avenging his prescott loss is what he should do, its personal to khan and this is the perfect time for it as well.

Peterson's style doesn't make for an exciting fight though in my opinion. Lamont is a good fighter in my eyes but i think if Khan absolutely beats the living **** out of Judah in front of a sell out UK crowd it would do wonders for his popularity

Khan will beat him easily. NO POINT BRAWL. Better for Khan to face Judah really.

I don't think Peterson deserved the draw in his last fight. Even though he's a better fighter than Prescott, it'd be better if Amir settled that first. Peterson's not a bad option or anything, just not the ideal one to me.

Khan will beat Judah much more severely than he would Lamont

Prescott is irrelevant, and a win over him would do nothing for Khan other than receiving a healthy payday. Peterson, on the other hand, is a great test. He’s not too dangerous, but he’ll be great preparation for the likes of Bradley and Alexander.

    Make it happen!

Avenging a loss is never stupid, but khan is almost at the point where a matchup like prescott doesnt make sense anymore, now he can still make money, stay busy and avenge a loss. Imagine lewis not avenging the ko losses to rahman and mccall, its more important to khan mentally as well.

I agree. Michell completely outclassed Prescott and it's pretty clear that a rematch with Prescott at 140 is completely irrelevant atm. Compare it to Pacquiao wanting to have a rematch with either Singsurat or Torrecampo.. Prescott has to have more fights at 140 and prove himself as a top contender. Peterson on the other hand is still a top 10 player and should be able to produce a good fight.

:think True. Also, imagine Pacquiao not avenging his KO losses to Singsurat and Torrecampo. Hang on a sec....:huh

thats why I said its almost to late to do it, and khan has recently stated that that he wants to rematch prescott again,I dont mind if he doesnt but it seems logical to me if he choose to fight him.

I wouldn't bash him for taking the fight either, as I believe he deserves a relatively easy (and yes Khan should easily KO him) fight before taking on Bradley/Alexander this summer). I would just rather see him fight Judah or Peterson instead.

I just think, conquering the top names of the 140 division is more important. Beating the winner of Bradley-Alexander is what he should be aiming for. Fighting a limited Prescott who will not test him in the way those guys would, is not good preperation.
