Someone on twitter said Guerrero is out, Canelo and Bradley are being considered

Schaefer flat out denies Bradley is being considered. That would also sink way too many preconceived notions about Arum being at fault for no cross matches between the two companies not to mention making Schaefer an even bigger liar than Arum :rofl

 

On one hand this fight is an interesting stylistic clash that I think can produce some unexpected drama.

On the other, Guerrero isn't exactly a name to get excited for considering his lackluster resume. (Somehow beating Berto inexplicably became a wormhole to a Mayweather fight)

 

I'm pretty sure he was referencing the Ortiz-Maidana fight in which Ortiz was getting his ass whooped by someone and wanted out. You are making fun of Guerrero yet are a fan of Ortiz.

 

Thats why its going to be a co-feature. I expect Canelo to fight Angulo. Two lackluster names that are safe but still viable hopefully securing CAnelo v Mayweather in September.

Without the co-feature I doubt Mayweather fight Guerrero.

 

Why wouldn't Bradley be considered that pretty stupid? At the same time y hasn't Arum done a full court press on trying to make a Bradley-Mayweather?

 

I think if there is any fighter that Arum will be willing to work with along with GBP it will be Tim, He sees $ in a 5th Marquez Pac fight, Tim though a solid fighter isnt a real draw yet, so I am sure Bob would be open minded about allowing GBP to put something together I mean if your a business minded person thats the smart thing to do

 

Just telling what I read somewhere. Schaefer flat out said he wanted to put to rest the rumors about Bradley. This goes two ways though. You think GBP wants Bradley for Floyd. Nope. You think that negotiations for a May/Bradley fight could go this long without a leak? Between TR and GBP? It's been cold here but I don't think... wait let me check... well, maybe....

Of course not but GBP doesn't have to put in the effort Arum does since Mayweather is already with there stable. There job is to make Mayweather happy. Arum's job is to make Bradley happy and im sure landing a Mayweather fight would make Bradley happy.

well i saw on the bottomline was what we already know. it said: floyd mayweather and canelo alvarez to fight on same card on May 4. mayweather expected to face robert guerrero and alvarez will defened his title vs alfredo angulo, james kirkland, or austin trout. that's all it said. slow sports news day...
