In the latest issue of Ring Magazine there is an artilcle on page 20 by
Ivan Goldman who says that blood stained plaster chunks were removed
    from each of Margie's handwraps.

He said for Arum and anyone else to want to believe it was hand cream which would've been illegal as well has to be a complete fool !!!

He went on to say that he believes Margie used them in previous fights as well.
I guess this will continue on until Capetillo or Margie come clean on this matter
of which is not likely to happen.....he will probably fight in Mexico this Sept.

I'm getting a little tired of this Margarito scandal, I say lets get back to boxing.
But i do feel that Margarito should not step in the ring till his one year suspension is over going to Mexico to fight will do him more harm than good with the fan's and media.

If it really WAS plaster and it HAD obvious blood stains, he would have been banned for life. That writer is just saying what haters wanna hear

How do you wrap, un-wrap, re-wrap, un-rewrap, over and over for multiple fights using the same gauze......do you add more plaster and water each time....and multiple inspections by various officials at different fights.

"Hey Margo....looks like these wraps were used back in 2002....maybe your trainer ought to buy some more gauze and tape for you."

Margo had hard pads in his wraps with an illegal substance.

Plaster like. I dont know about anyone else, but plaster like to me is paste like.

I would think if it was lotion like they would describe it different from plaster and there would be some kind of aroma coming off the pads.

I'm about tired of this scandal too. It's pretty obvious that Margarito has used brick hands in the past, he tried to use them against Mosley, but he got caught. He probably did use them against Cotto, and probably before that as well. Let's just move on let Margarito back into the ring after his year suspension, make sure he doesn't have brick hands and were fine. Let's just move on.

It is irresponsible for Goldman to speculate, without evidence, that he used it in previous fights.
