Hey I'm a big fan of their "patriotism" it just serves to push out the odds of a Calzaghe win so I can make even more money off him inevitably winning.
Probably for alot of these folks, whether they know it or not, one of the biggest questions of this fight is not "how much does Jones has left?" Or "will Roy get his confidence back?" It is "what class is Calzaghe truly in?" That's the fundamental reasoning behind some of this. The implication is, already, that people don't believe it's a league apart from even a badly shot/deteriorated/shell of a Roy Jones. That's very telling.
Id say they are infused with correctness tbh. I've not really seen any objective analysis by anyone suggesting how Jones coming off the back of a less than impressive win against a blown up, highly rusty middle, who lost his last 3 fights to guys in a class beneath Calzaghe, is going to beat him. At best he has a punchers chance, but Jones hasnt showed much power of late, and Calzaghe has an excellent chin. Do you honestly think that Roy can outwork the younger fitter man who has never once shown any stamina problems over 12 rounds? I certainly don't, which is why Mr Calzaghe is once again going to deliver me a big pile of money from the bookies.
I take what the boxing media says with a grain of salt, Calzaghe will be the busier fighter, better chin, and Jones didn't look good in his last fight with tito to say the least:-( Calzaghe ud..
