have you seen POPO at 130? he has better Wins against better opponests then Valero. plus he still had the fight in him at that moment in time.
I've only seen one Popo fight, Frietas-Barrios, and it was exciting as hell. I'm under the impression Popo is a quitter and will wilt against the Valero assult?
frietas was a sham. he's a known quitter and valero is known to make people quit. frietas would be battered. ....just like everyone else beat his ass.
Popo was good, But I had faith in Valero! I feel he would of done big things in the sport of boxing! Therefore Valero by KO :bbb
2 world titles! 27-0, 27 kos! A gym legend in southern california, he sparred great fighters and dominated... El inca was a special fighter!!
He was NO gym legend in SoCal. Hell, in 2005 I met him and he invited me to his training session in Vernon, and he was no legend by any means. He was barely even known.
Valero would k.o. /t.k.o. popos frietas early. it would be a chase..freitas moving away from him and getting beat against the ropes.
ponce and edwin were actually under the same trainers! They used to travel together.. I heard valero Knocked ponce out cold in a street fight in atlantic city over a hooker!! LMAO... valero was a crazy SOB
He sparred with DLH, erik morales, urbano antillion, santa cruz bros! Tons of others... He held his own against guys that were 2-3 weight classes above him! Obviously you have something against el inca :hi:
Frietas is no quitter. I guerentee if the fight was offered today he would accept no questions asked...
Nothing against him at all....Just reality...I liked Edwin valero..Like I said, him and DPDL invited me to work out with them at Bally's in Montebello CA, and I went to see them train in Vernon CA at theri invite. Cool cats, but Freitas is so much more skilled, and DPDL is more proven than valero..it's all I'm saying..I don't overrate him because he's KO a bucnh of cans and is dead now.
