Its pretty much up to you. If you srsly believe Primo vs Campolo is comparable to Lewis vs Vitali, you may try to study that synchronized playback (with even less fighters) more closely.

Why not directly compare Lewis v Vitali with Carnera v Campolo ?
I have no doubt that Lewis and Vitali display some better moves and fight better and fight better than the other two, because they are FAR BETTER FIGHTERS, but it is still a unskilled slugfest with long long stretches of unskilled wrestling, utter lack of defensive boxing, and sloppy, flailing technique, clumsy footwork.

The blanket denial of this is absurd and shows the agenda at play.

See, I readily state that guys like Campolo were basically bums, and Carnera was extremely limited. It is obvious.
But you guys can't even bring yourselves to admit that Lewis and Vitali threw most of their skills out of the window to engage in a sloppy but entertaining slugfest. It's remarkable, that level of denial.

Look at this right hand Lewis throws, and look what happens with his feet, looks like a poor man's Max Baer for a moment there :

That's not skilled execution by any stretch.

A little later, Vitali throws this :

    Talk about telegraphing a punch.

And that's just within a few seconds of the first round. You could find dozens of gems of mad unskilled slugging in the 6 rounds it lasted. The 2nd round features some insanely sloppy footwork from Lewis, and complete disregard for defence.
This isn't even debatable. Then commentators are under no illusions either.
It was a brawl, a savage brawl where skills were discarded for a test of strength, power and heart.
No one who is honest and knows boxing would deny it.

Lennox vs Vitali was sloppy in the extreme. The kind of fight that breaks out when composure cannot be maintained on both sides. A proper sluggfest between huge guys committed to not getting out of the way of each other. It makes for exactly the kind of fun fight that the casuals love. You take that composure away and the best of boxers can be forced into that.

I think people need to put their rose tinted glasses off in regards to the modern shws. Not every big man is Wlad and Lennox and even then they could be prone to mistakes. For every Baer there’s a Wilder. I like the crop of modern HWs at this moment. There is more skill and talent there then in the last 15 years (at least I think there is we will never know if they never fight each other). A lot of interesting matches to be made (one id most like to see is Ruiz v Miller) .

I agree. I’m quite excited about the future of Joe Joyce and Tony Yoka. There’s actually a lot about right now. At the top and coming through.
