Action packed York Hall show on Feb 24th!

Might be scared of both getting stopped as they might lack an engine, well Yarde does for sure and Dubios is such a big puncher he might tire quickly too. I think thus far their match making has been poor.

 

It's been the worst I've seen for two prospects, not just poor. Most of Dubois and Yarde's opponents haven't even been the same weight division as them.

 

Dubois is 20 and has has 6 fights, i think.. Fought Dorian Darch in his 5th fight at 19 years old.AJ fought Darch in his 4th fight at 25 years old.
Although it is frustrating to see DD being matched as he his,blowing people away,but he's a baby and there's a lot of money on the line.His team ain't gonna rush him and risk anything at 20 years old.Where as Joyce at 32 needs to be fast tracked.I know most of us boxing fans would like to see him in with much more of a test,but if he was your young fighter,and your money on the line,it may well be different.After his next fight,maybe a Dave Allen, would be a good win for DD,but will test his engine a bit.

 

If you look at Dubios first 5 fights overall the quality is much worse than that of Joshuas opponents though I understand reason for that, what I dont understand is getting him to fight non punching Cruiserweights.

 

There is no need for a monster like dubois to be fighting cruiserweights even if he is 19, it's just not on.

Would Dave Allen be ok??

 

Imo Dave Allen would give him fits he would take his shots and has a solid chin and pretty good defense and unlike the trash his fought Allen would push him back not to say he wins but he will expose the flaws that he definitely has and Frank knows it because there are much better opponents to fight whats wrong with the guy price beat or even the likes of larry o he never wins but will give him rounds

 

I don't think he should be thrown in the deep end yet as I don't think hes ready, but he needs to fight more people who are actually from same weight class as him and preferable some who will take him rounds so he can work on his weaknesses. He seens a nice young guy so i wish him well.

 

Iron Mike wasn't much older when he was ironing all out to become World Heavyweight Champion

 

I know mate.But,he was an animal. Loved watching Mike from the start.He might of been a small heavy,but he had serious pop and upper body movement

 

Mike also had 15 fights in his first year.

Let this guy of the leash and lets see what he's got, if the sparring rumours are true he bulldozes everyone.
