After seeing that vargas in the majorities opinion... shouldnt get in the HOF, i am curious as to who out there that is an active fighter... SHOULD get in. just curious. The ones for me that pop into mind are Roy Jones JR Bernard Hopkins JC Mayweather Hatton maybe?
I guess I'm somewhat of a small hall guy: DLH PBF Hopkins Jones Jr. Pacquiao Barrera Morales Toney Rafael Marquez Trinidad (if he can be considered active) Calzaghe's in if he beats Kessler, Mosley's in with a win over Cotto, and Wright's in with one more big win. Might be missing a couple as well, didn't think too hard about it. But I'm on the 'no' side with JMM, Vargas, Forrest, Hatton, Gatti, etc. I'd have to think harder about Virgil Hill. Edit: Also Evander Holyfield. Forgot about him. Possibly Hatton if he beats PBF, but I don't think he even has a chance of winning that one. Possibly Tarver if he can get another big win (i.e. over Dawson, Woods or one of the top cruisers). Same for Johnson. However, I suspect that Tarver and Johnson's times have run out.
