Ad on the fighter's back

this is one of the most common things in boxing. Don't have to go back 7-8 years.

 

Didn't Marquez have one on his back recently, as in last year.

Hopkins did it when he fought Trinidad. It was for a bet.

 

I remember Hopkins being one of the first big name fighters to advertise on his back.

 

Abraham - Miranda is another exmaple

 

B Hop had an ad on his back in a fight somewhere around the time he fought Tito.

i remember clearly because he gave them a shout out(GoldenPalace) during the post interview, which made the interviewer mad. it might have been Merchant.

 

Seen hundreds over the last few years.

Hate it personally. Looks very degrading.

 

They have been around for quite some time. They don't allow it on HBO anymore I'm pretty sure. I think I read something a few years back about it being banned there.
